Most of the beastfolk seemed puzzled by their sudden appearance, for none had seen them disembark from a magic ship—the usual way to cross the sea. To them, it was as if Yuan and his women had appeared out of thin air.
The stares didn't end there. The appearance of Yuan and his wives shocked many. They looked almost divine, like beings that didn't belong to this world at all. Some male beastfolk felt tempted to approach the beautiful women, but the moment they drew near, an overwhelming, threatening aura washed over them, sending a cold shiver down their spines.
