Wang Ming and the masked man continued walking until they arrived in front of two caves. They frowned when they noticed that one of the caves was blocked by a blue, transparent barrier. Above it, glowing words were written: "Trial Commencing."
"Looks like members of the Black Church are inside that one," Wang Ming muttered, and the masked man nodded in agreement.
They both entered the other cave and immediately felt an even sharper drop in temperature.
The cave was narrow, and its walls were made entirely of ice crystals. A fierce blizzard howled through the tunnels. Wang Ming glanced to his left and noticed a transparent wall, allowing them to see the progress of the other competitors in the opposite cave.
As they ventured deeper, the temperature dropped even further. Wang Ming looked back and saw the masked man trembling.
"You alright?" Wang Ming asked, raising an eyebrow.
