After getting up and walking to the quest board, I look and realize that the board is divided into sections, according to your adventurer rank, you could accept quests that where one rank above yours if you were in a party, otherwise you were restricted to your own rank and lower, to rank up you need to complete 10 quests of your own rank and then you would need to undergo a 'Trial', in order to be officially accepted into the next rank. Or at least that's what it took to get to copper, i'll figure the rest out as need be
After glancing at my card for a moment, the card read-

After realizing I was the lowest rank possible, I decide that my current goal was achieve a higher rank, something high enough as to where I'll easily be able to cover my living expenses before thinking about what to do next in order to become a strong mage.
After looking through all the quests currently available to me, I decided that I would do an herb gathering quest, this herb was easy to find on the exact mountain I was transported into this world on.
Not only would I be looking for the herb(willow grass, it was bluish in coloration, with a faded white crown) I would also be hunting for grey wolves to increase my level.
It was easy to spot, and it was known to grow in patches near cave entrances.
The only problem (for most) is that caves were often home to a family of wolves
So not only would I get the money for completing the quest, I would also sell all of the wolf pelt I have and also gain at least one level from all the hunting (I hope...).
'As for the meat I would get from the wolves, I'll keep it as reserves.'
And after finishing enough quests I would go and clear a dungeon a couple times to increase my level and make some earnings back.
And so I had a plan, even if it was rudimentary, a plans a plan, i can build on it later.
Now, I just need to start acting out those plans, hopefully everything goes as smoothly as I've planned…
'First let's go and apply for the willow grass quest(Quest : collect 25 willow grass stems)'
After picking up the quest sheet, I walk over to the quest acception desk-
"Hello, I want to accept this quest"
"Of course, all I need is your adventurers card and the quest sheet" replies the burly man on the other side of the desk.
"Sure, just give me a second one second"
After pulling my adventurers card out of my pocket, I hand him the quest sheet, after the brief interaction he begins to authenticate everything
After stamping the back of the quest sheet he gives back my adventurer card and says-
"The quest has been authenticated and you have now registered the quest to collect 25 willow grass within a time limit of 3 days, good luck adventurer!"
And after that, I take my leave and start to head towards the shopping district I saw earlier as I was in desperate need of some spare rations for the journey
'I need to remember, I only have 10 gold coins, I can't blow it all on unneeded equipment, but that being said, I do need food, so it's a necessary purchase.
After walking back for a few minutes, I finally find that shopping district, after looking around at a couple of the stalls, the average cost for a single meal is about 10 silver or 0.1 gold, after a little bit of deliberating, I decide that I'll buy 10 meals and 5 water pouches, normally that would be a hassle to carry around, but since I have the system's inventory function its no biggie.
'In total this costs 2 gold, but it should be enough to keep me going for the rest of the week and then some if i ration it well'
After looking around the stalls for a bit more, I leave and start to head towards the gate of the city that I entered from.
After getting slightly lost for a couple minutes, I eventually managed to make my way to the exit, after waiting in line for about a minute my turn comes eventually, then the guard turns to me and says-
"Hello there, can I have your identification card"
After he asks for my identification card, I freak out for a moment after realizing that my adventurers card in in my inventory, and if I take it out now, I'll draw too much attention.
After a moment of panic, I have a sudden idea.
I reach into my pocket, open my inventory, and now my inventory is concealed by my pocket, Now I pull my adventurers card out of my 'pocket' and hand it to the guard in front of me.
(That's a pretty good tactic for when I need to take something out of my inventory in front of other people, I should try and build the habit of using that strategy more often, so that I can comfortably use my inventory in front of others, at least till i'm strong enough as to where people wouldn't be surprised)
After the guard takes about a couple seconds to check the authenticity of my card, he hands it back and says-
"Alright, here's your card, safe travels young man"
After he hands me my card, give him a respectful smile, wish him a good day and begin the walk to spawn mountain…
'This is probably going to take a while, if I keep going at this speed, I might not make it there before nightfall'
'Maybe I should use flash, it will make me 20% faster, but even then, I still won't make it in time if I'm walking, it looks like my only option if I want to be able to come back this gate by nightfall and still have time to find a good in or tavern to sleep in is it sprint while using flash, the only reason I didn't want to have to do this is because I wanted to save mana and and energy for when I'm fighting the wolves, but it should recover by the time i'm there'
After thinking about it for a while, I decide to run and use flash at the same time I order to save time
And with that, I began my sprint back to the mountain…
