Edward continued walking through the corridors of the mansion without answering immediately, his footsteps echoing faintly against the floor as he listened to Jarvis speaking in his mind.
(I was wondering why Master hasn't told your friends about Princess Ephera's whereabouts.)
"Because she isn't Ephera yet," Edward replied dryly.
He could have told Cylien and Rodolf that Ephera was alive, or at least that he had found a lead concerning her, but doing so would only create unnecessary complications before he was certain of what was actually happening to her.
Ephera's situation was different from Rodolf's or Cylien's, whose memories had awakened naturally and whose identities had returned without the same complications surrounding her existence.
With Ephera, things were far more delicate.
He needed to be careful.
[Aren't you afraid of Nihil intervening in that case, Master?]
Edward's eyes narrowed slightly.
Nihil knew who Ephera was.
