"Let them go?" Eliezer Pine walked up to Julius Reed, his eyes filled with resentment. "He injured me."
"Exactly." Elaenor Wood added fuel to the fire: "If this gets out, where will you put your face?"
He was somewhat unwilling.
Originally, today was supposed to be a chance to perform in front of Eliezer Pine.
But unfortunately, Elaenor Wood got hurt and couldn't single-handedly complete the heroic rescue story.
In the end, it was the existence of Julius Reed, like a bug in the system, that helped him through the difficulty.
"Yes, I've followed you for hundreds of years, served you tea, washed your feet, warmed your bed. Now that I've been beaten, are you just going to sit by and do nothing?" Eliezer Pine leaned towards Julius Reed and gave him a seductive glance.
Between the two of them, there was no sense of distance due to betrayal at all.
It was as if, in a moment, they returned to a few years ago.
Back to the days at Demarco Mount.
