"Lillian, I can't possibly let you live."
Davion lay on the ground, blood at the corner of his mouth, yet he was still smiling happily.
No sorrow can compare to a dead heart.
His heart had died long ago.
"Be buried with my brother!" Hayden Marsh's eyes brimmed with murderous intent as he thrust the Longsword forward!
"Wait!"
Just as the blade was about to pierce Lillian Tompson's chest, she suddenly spoke up.
"What more do you have to say?" Hayden Marsh halted his actions, the sword tip suspended in the air.
His brother's corpse remained unburied, fueling his rage.
"Fine, I also want to live." Lillian Tompson turned around, giving Davion a cold glance: "It was him, he wanted to let me go. Otherwise, how could I walk with three silver needles sealed by your master in me?"
"This..." Konrad Marsh fell into thought.
That's almost certainly the case.
Both were well aware of Gerrit Harris's skills.
If nobody helped her, Lillian Tompson could never have escaped on her own!
