Grey stood atop the fox he landed on, thanks to his hearing he could he the spine inside break in multiple areas while his heart beat rapidly due to the sudden attack.
Grey stared down the foxes he saw his injured brother, a injured shin lying in the corner and many children shivering in the corner.
Greys fist started to vibrate rapidly almost turning translucent. "I AM SICK… of all you predators thinking you can play with us just because we herbivores are weaker!"
One of the foxes watching laughed at greys words only for his head to explode the next second as a enraged grey stood near the foxes now falling body.
"Shit!!! Every attack!!!" One fox yelled waking everyone form their daze.
The all shoot off attacks of flame but it seemingly exploded midair and a few seconds later so did their heads.
"TCH… a bunch of weaklings picking on the helpless when you are barley tier two… PATHETIC!"
Grey immediately checked up on the the passed out shin. "Hmm a few broken ribs but nothing major… hey bumper tell me exactly what happened here."
"Yes but, when did you get back bro I haven't seen you in so long."
Greys ears twitched in annoyance "nothing major happened so just tell me please."
Bumper looked at his obviously hurting brother in his pained eyes but decided to look pass it since everything is so hectic.
"… ok, We were told all children and weak elders that couldn't fight should hide in this bunker. But us weaker awakened like me were told to stay here as we would do more damage than good. So mom had shin and zinc protect us but they were attacked by many foxes disguised as rabbits with illusions and attack her by surprise. She got hurt immediately so me and zinc had to do something but I'm only a low level speed rune user so sinc covered me in a metal armor and then you know the rest."
Grey nodded "Hey! Jade could you do me a major favor I'll owe you one."
Bumper looked at grey like he was crazy. "Who? … are you talking to bro?"
"Me!" Boomed a echoing voice that seemingly came out of nowhere in particular.
"Who said that. Show yourself!" Bumper yelled nervously.
A massive serpent shadow emerged from greys shadow its eyes glowing emerald.
Grey, zinc and all the kids seeing Jade emerge out of nowhere made everyone start shivering in fear.
"H-hey bro don't be alarmed but… there a SNAKE BEHIND YOU!!!"
Grey smirked at bumper's comment "She's a friend I made while traveling she will keep you all safe until I return I got go help the others."
Bumper looked shocked and in utter disbelief "you really like making dangerous friends, first that huge owl then the hyena and now a snake. What's next a bear or lion you can't keep doing this."
Grey smiled smugly "for your information one of my bear friends is helping in the battle right now and I brought a few more friends you'll meet soon enough."
Grey immediately ran off at high speeds leaving behind a grey and white blur behind in his wake.
Bumper looked at Jade nervously "ssooo um miss snake how'd you meet my brother?"
Jade looked at the little boy awkwardly "we meet in a dark cave when I was lost and he helped find a way out so I owe him a lot."
They both just sat there in awkward silence as zinc made a metallic smiley face lighting the mood slightly.
Grey found himself on the surface and scanned the entire area cocoa and his mother seemed to be battling the ice fox but they seemed evenly matched. Golo, Tony and winter seemed to be doing fine the ones that really needed help seemed to be Maria, Rex and karma as they were the only ones on the defensive fighting off the army of foxes.
Grey decided to help them out immediately.
A few minutes earlier golo was running towards the far gate with Tony on his shoulder the farther they went the more ash and snow seemed to fall from the sky.
Golo immediately created some dirt boots and armor to protect himself from the crazy temperatures while Tony surrounded himself in Golden sparks of energy.
Golo finally found out where he supposedly supposed to help out only to see a rabbit and fox clashing strong sparks of flame and ice clashing creating steam with every clash.
Winter seemed to be on defensive firing off ice spike from a distance while the fox charged in like a flaming meteor destroying everything with brute force.
"Hey I'm going to attack by surprise I need you to team up with her over there and create an opportunity for me."
Golo nodded along to Tony's plan as Tony hopped into an ice crystal and disappearing as he yelled out have her create as many huge ice shards as she can I'll make my move when he's at the center of them or if you need help."
Golo stared at the ice shard that Tony disappeared into. "What the heck are his runes supposed to be I've never seen anything like them before?"
He used the surrounding earth to create two hand axes as she made a earth pillar below him launching himself into the air.
As golo flew through the air he saw the fox attacking the blue rabbit with pure power leaving her to create ice walls and shields.
Golo screamed out as he fell with his axes held high above his head ready to strike.
The blazing fox heard the screams and immediately used his flames to dash backwards dodging the heavy impact.
After creating a small crater crashing down golo immediately threw his axes at the fox and immediately tried to create another pair of axes but only managed a small tomahawk.
The fox immediately dodged into the air with a few explosions launching it around.
"Wut?"golo looked surprised at the little amount of earth around him.
The floor was covered in ash and snow ruining the land around him.
"Crap not enough land ice and charcoal this… is certainly a new feeling?"
"Who are you? Why are you helping me?" Winter asked in an exasperated manner clearly exhausted.
Golo looked at her with a wicked smile. "Don't worry I'm a friend of greys and we are here to help."
"WE?" She said confused.
"OH! Right my buddy is preparing an ambush but we need massive ice spike for his plan and that fox needs to be at the center of them."
Winter nodded "I can do that but you'll need to defend me while I make those ice pillars."
"Can you remove some ice and snow I can't really connect to the land below me with all this interference."
Winter immediately used the snow and ice near golos feet to form compressed spiked before firing it at the still raging fox.
The fox dash around in a trail of flames "you think two make any difference I'll burn you BOTH into burnt snacks my favorite."
Every step it made left the area around him burnt to a crisp. His every movement left trails of explosions behind.
Golo used the new found earth below his feet to form a earth Spear while putting the tomohawk on the back of his earth armor.
Before getting sent flying by a flaming fox.
Golo stabbed his spear into the ground to stop himself from flying off by standing on the spear with his feet causing it to bend greatly.
He used the momentum from the bending spear to bounce back.
"You want to play? Ok let's play but when I'm through with you you'll be my barbecue snack." Golo yelled as he flew towards the fox that charged at him.
Winter was busy building up ice pillars when with the last of her power's barley able to stand as she had been releasing ice and snow non stop to overcome the flames.
As she finished the second ice pillar there was a massive explosion.
She looked back only to see the goblin being sent flying by the fox repeatedly.
Everytime golo blocked an attack from the fox it exploded upon impact.
"Forget defending! If I'm going to get no matter what I might as well get a few hits in and make you hurt.
Golo used most the nearby earth to focus on the armor on just his hands and feet as he pulled out the tomohawk from earlier.
Every hit sent golo sliding back but his now heavy boot kept him from getting sent flying far away. And in return for every hit golo took he slashed and diced at the fox cleaving apart chunks of flesh piece by piece.
This bloody slugfest kept going for a solid three minutes of raw violence.
Golo was left bruised and burnt looking like he might collapse any second but his smile never faded from his face.
"What's so funny you're about to die yet you seem? Oddly amused for sure reason." The fox asked obviously curious.
"Well I love a good fair fight as much as the next beast but we goblins never play fair especially in war, you see I'm just the distraction and since the ice pillars finally look complete I say your… TOAST!"
"NOW!!!" Golo yelled as used all the nearby earth on him to make a earth cacoon that drilled into the ground leaving behind a white crystal rock.
The tips of the ice spikes started glowing yellow charging up energy.
The fox tried to run from the area but a long tongue coming from the white crystal.
The moment the tounge hit the fox he felt an electric shock running through his system keeping him in place.
The ice pillar tips started glowing even brighter as they finally fired off a beams from all six pillars hitting the fox releasing a concentrated explosion around it that blinded any watches.
After all the smoke and light disappeared leaving behind a massive hole in the ground with a flame rune being the only thing left at the center.
Golo soon drilled back to the surface before limping to the rune stone.
"Hey Tony isn't this thing super valuable?" Golo asked.
Tony soon came out of the white crystal breathing heavily trying to catch his breath.
"Y… yeah j just give me a moment I've been charging up my power nonstop it takes a lot of energy and your in no shape to use it either."
Golo just laughed loudly. "Yeah that's true and it looks like greys rabbit friend over there already passed out."
Golo said looking at the rabbit sleeping on the last pillar that was shorter than the others.
