"So what do you think?" Alice asked, staring at Lina.
Lina looked around the shop, her eyes wide and her mouth agape. The expansive, rose-plastered walls and striking terrazzo floor were just as she had imagined it would look, beautiful and captivating. The scattered gray, black, and tan marble chips added texture and playfulness to the room. She liked it.
Natural light flooded the space through the large, floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors wrap. And they offered a view to the street right outside.
The low-hanging saucer lights and woven rattan dome lights over the central tables were even more than she imagined. And the walk-in library....
"I love it all," she absently answered and turned to Alice. "It's way better than I had hoped it'd look." She gushed.
Relieved and pleased, Alice nodded with a smile. "I'm glad you like it."
"I don't like it. I love it. It's exactly how I had envisioned it and more." She turned around, taking it all in.
