The research that should've taken her years was finished within two weeks, and I took the result and headed to slay the dragon. Solo." He put his glass down. "Nina, Merlin, and Amber stayed back to protect the city in case the dragon escaped me. Poppy herself decided to stay away and hide in the shadows. If I fail, she would flee away before the dragons find out that she made the concoction."
