"Surely Amaterasu would notice that we're up to something. Doesn't she rule the gods now? She won't miss a few of them worshipping someone under the table." Arad's worries were in their place. It was almost impossible to get such a thing to slip beneath Amaterasu's watch, and so, the plan couldn't proceed further.
But that was where Arad got stuck, not where Eris stopped planning. She knew Amaterasu better than him, and was also a divine being, so she had a simple but effective plan.
"How about we gather as many gods as we can under our banner, but not ask them to worship you yet. We'll wait until we gather a few of them, probably a whole bunch, and then get them to all start worshipping at the same time." She leaned forward and looked at Arad with a smile. "Why do you think that smaller evil gods can be so powerful when they don't have as much backing as the others?"
