Chapter 1057 - Introductions Made

Leaving the winery behind set off another flutter of butterflies off inside my stomach, and even the stolen kiss from Aunt Renna in 'secret' or the immaculate blowjob from Mother couldn't calm my nerves as I walked in the middle of my three women.

Camara was as calm as ever, her hand in mine as she kept pace with me, looking around at the city and taking it all in while remaining quiet, waiting for someone else to break the silence first.

It was somewhat of a comfort all things considered, and whenever I squeezed her hand for a moment of relief she squeezed it back, but it didn't change the fact that I was still extremely worried about everything to come.

All the silence did was give me time to think about how wrong things could go, but it was also that kind of thinking that made me feel like shit, so I instead looked at the other two and instead studied them as they walked nearby as well.

I hadn't really seem them in the city before, and as stupid as it sounded there was a difference in how they 'looked' when they were here on the street compared to when we were just roaming around the compound.

Cici wore that smirk of hers with confidence, her height and relative bulk giving her the freedom to strut down the street without needing to worry about people being in her way, which of course attracted a lot of attention; attention that she reciprocated, sending back smiles, winks or kisses to whomever had caught her eye.

As for Annie, the Nymph wasn't as bubbly or 'friendly' as she normally was, instead donning a more neutral and collected expression that didn't make people feel confident when approaching her, despite a lot of people clearly wanting to.

It wasn't a 'bad' expression nor did it seem negative but it definitely made it clear the Nymph was wanting to be left alone, and even though her clothing hugged her body just right and her scent alone was enough to make any futanari pop a semi she still just kept walking, staring straight ahead.

She was right beside me as well, close enough to make it obvious we were together but far enough that we didn't seem like lovers, and it was that sort of distance that had me overthinking all sorts of things that I didn't want to be thinking about.

The walk from the winery to the butchery was both forever long and completed in about a half second, so I was sort of shocked when I actually realized we were standing in front of the butchery already.

It jolted me back to reality and I realized we hadn't said anything since leaving the butchery, but now that we were here I didn't really know what else to say... and looking at the Nymph didn't really make me feel like saying something would be the best idea...

Camara and Cici were fine to leave everything to the Nymph for now, so with her finally looking over at me and giving me a crisp nod I decided it was just time to pull this 'bandage' off fast; rapping my knuckles against the door I only had to wait a moment before it was opened, and immediately I was face to face with Gertrude.

The Bearkin looked at me for a moment before looking over my shoulder at the other three, her brown eyes narrowing before she just grunted and opened the door wider, beckoning for us to enter.

Stepping to the side and gesturing for them to go first, I walked in after everyone else and tentatively made my way to the back, where Gertrude had everyone sit down as she grabbed some cups and filled them with water.

The room remained silent even after she sat down as well, making everything rather awkward since I had no real idea how to proceed but also knew that I was the one who was going to need to speak first, especially since everyone was looking at me.

"Um... Alright! Gertrude, this is Camara - my sister and first wife - and these two are Annie and Cici, the married couple who decided to merge their relationship with me and Camara. Everyone, this is Gertrude, the Bearkin who runs this butchery with her daughter."

I decided that was a good place to start, which had Gertrude sweeping her eyes over each of them as they were introduced before she just calmly took a sip of her water, turning her gaze towards me as she kept quiet.

Sensing that this was going to be some sort of 'Cold War' situation for a little bit, I was prepared to just make random small talk and bullshit my way through this as best I could, but thankfully Camara saved me as she chimed in with her calm and collected voice that filled me with such joy.

"It's just you and your daughter? Is she... younger or properly grown..? Must be difficult, but it looks like you've done a wonderful job so far."

Maybe not the greatest set of things to string together but the genuineness was there, and that was all that mattered since Gertrude nodded and replied "Thank you; my daughter - Eleanor - is grown, but she's still learning everything.", sparking something for us to talk about.

"It is quite impressive... but I just have to wonder..?"

Annie wasn't being as tactful as always, but Gertrude also wasn't one to mince words or apparently feign respect just because since she looked towards the Nymph and said "Her Dama left us behind to fend for ourselves, so she's had to learn everything from me. It's not perfect but it is how things have ended up."

"Mm... I meant no offense. If anything it's extremely impressive, Gertrude. Sorry if that came off... wrong."

Her tone was mellowing ever so slightly, so I breathed a sigh of relief since things seemed to be going in the right direction... even if the Nymph was still looking at the Bearkin with suspicion...
