SPLASH. Young Yang closed his eyes and plunged his head into the clear river water. After vigorously shaking his head a few times, he suddenly pulled it up, a look of exhilaration on his face. He had managed to wash up and drink at the same time.
The water here is really sweet.
Dabbing the droplets from his chin, Young Yang picked up a bucket of water and started heading back.
Thanks to the exercise from their long journey and no longer going hungry, his body was no longer as scrawny as it had been when he was a beggar. He had fleshed out, his complexion was no longer sallow, and he had even grown a bit taller.
"Good morning, Brother Cao Cao," Young Yang greeted Gouwa, who was circling a woman.
Seeing that Gouwa was too busy to pay him any mind, Young Yang chuckled and walked toward the pot. He wasn't a clueless kid; his precociousness made him understand exactly why Gouwa was being so attentive.
