"Senior Brother Li, what's wrong with you?"
Seeing his strange reaction, Bai Lingmiao was clearly frightened by Li Huowang. She quickly reached out to touch him but was shocked by the heat of his skin—it was burning hot.
"Senior Brother Li, stop thinking! I won't ask, I won't ask anymore!" Anxious to the point of tears, Bai Lingmiao clung tightly to Li Huowang.
Hearing her words, Li Huowang closed his eyes, gritting his teeth and forcing himself to think. In his straining mind, those deliberately hidden fragments began to piece themselves together. They formed a scroll so suffocating that the mere thought of it was unbearable, and things that should have been forgotten began to resurface.
The scroll was both moving and still. He decided to try and describe it in words she could understand.
