Anna pulled back a small section of the black curtains and used the binoculars Li Lu had just purchased to look down. The streets below were chilly and quiet, with only a few people scattered about. In the southeastern corner, two black cars were parked. Inside, the cherry of a cigarette glowed and faded.
"When I was observing the surroundings earlier today, they were already there. I don't know when exactly they arrived," Li Lu whispered to Anna.
"Did you see what they look like? Are they your colleagues?" Anna lowered the binoculars.
"Shadows are trained and contacted through single, isolated lines, so you can't identify them by appearance. But I'm sure they're not from headquarters. If they really were Shadows, their surveillance would never be this crude."
Not people from the IMF... then who's interested in me?
After contemplating for a few seconds, Anna spoke, "Mask, go over there quietly. If they're just ordinary people, capture them."
