"You're really tense, Anna." Tuba, only sixty centimeters tall, craned his neck to look up at the girl in front of him, who was lost in thought with her chin in her hand.
Anna snatched the milk bottle beside her and shoved it straight into his mouth, then ignored him.
Her gaze lingered on the passing scenery outside the window. Whatever she was thinking, only she knew.
The bus slowed and came to a stop outside a bustling vegetable market, where vendors and deliverymen came and went endlessly.
Seeing Anna stand up and head toward the bus door, the others on board quickly stood up as well.
"Sit down. I'll go by myself," Anna said as she stepped off the bus.
One couldn't expect the market floor to be clean, and dirt quickly speckled Anna's shoes.
She paid it no mind and continued walking inside. She passed through the vegetable section and a small door, finding herself at the back of the market.
