The night wind in the desert was exceptionally boisterous, accompanied by the twinkling stars in the sky. An off-road vehicle carved out two deep wheel tracks on the dunes as they headed south toward their destination.
The night desert was swept by whirlwinds, lifting the yellow sand high, like smoke billowing up from the flat ground. It whipped against the car and their faces.
