Charles pressed the black Mike to his mouth, shouting anxiously, "First Mate Seth! Report your current status! If you can hear me, respond!"
However, the speaker fell silent, the connection now dead.
Frowning deeply, Charles quickly grabbed the sea chart to check the signal's location.
