"Look, this is an eyeliner pencil. You draw it like this, then like this, and then like this. Now take a look for yourself. Doesn't it look much better than before?"
Holding the eyeliner pencil between his fingers, Nico smiled and placed the mirror in front of the young girl to let her inspect her newly applied makeup.
They were in Nico's room, which, though small, was very cozily decorated with walls intentionally painted apple green.
"Really! I look so much prettier," Grace exclaimed in surprise.
"Right? Women must learn to wear makeup. It's a pursuit of beauty and equally represents confidence. Once you put on makeup and step out, there's this positive mindset, and that's why, even at 49, I can still keep a youthful spirit."
Nico took the mirror back and directed it toward himself. He puffed out his chest, sat sideways, pursed his bright lips, and admired the pearl earrings on his ears.
