Before humans and beastmen were born, angels, elves, and demons already existed. Recognizing gods wasn't a strange thing, especially for angels who acted as delegators of the gods.

But, the current "Sun God" was unfamiliar to both Wenresa and the Three Demon Gods. Wenresa was a Divine Half-Elf who hadn't seen much of her own father, let alone Mephisto and the others.
They had always been farming in Hell, though nothing ever grew.
In essence, during the development and expansion of Hell, despite divine will reaching them, the Three Demon Gods indeed hadn't seen much of the gods themselves.
However, Raphael knew.
"The seals on Hell and Heaven... they should have been set by you, right?!"
Raphael looked truly shocked. He couldn't help but start worrying about the situation in Heaven, and mumbled, "So, the calamity sealed in Heaven, could it be... Father God?"
