Chapter 323 - Chapter 323 - Uzumakis vs 4 Ninja Villages 07.

[Chapter Size: 2100 Words.]

Third Person POV

Uzushiogakure, Year 42.

...

...

Minato managed to remove one of the bijūdama after the jinchūriki of the Three-Tails and Six-Tails appeared on the eastern side under the Mizukage's command.

When the bijūdama were launched upon the bijuu that seemed to have control, he was surprised. He didn't remember having more jinchūriki with complete control at this time—there had only been the Two-Tails—but they really did seem to be under control.

However, he doubted that could last long. Maybe it was the same case as what had happened on the northern border during the Second War, when the Eight-Tails was summoned—he had control for a while, then went berserk, and the jinchūriki was killed, consumed by the beast.

He quickly threw another kunai and managed to remove one of the bijūdama, but not the other. The second one hit the barrier, already weakened due to the first blows from the east and the attacks from the west by Ōnoki and several Iwa ninjas.

The second barrier burst without difficulty, and the third one also exploded from the sheer force of the bijūdama. Now... only one barrier remained—the original one, which had been protecting the island for generations since its founding. This one should be even stronger than those Kushina had created in the past few days.

He only hoped it would buy them enough time.

Tsuna had arrived on the western side and focused on gathering natural energy, entering Sage Mode. She placed two more clones in the center of the island to gather energy, something she had learned from Minato.

He couldn't help but feel a bit worried about her fighting the old man from the Stone. The same went for Hanabi, which was why he wanted the two of them together, since Mikoto and Kushina would have Susanoo and Kurama to use as shields and defend against any potential enemies. In any case, he would have to keep his eyes on the west. He wouldn't lose any of his fiancées, but he also acknowledged the potential they had in this battle.

In the south, the Uzumaki patriarch was there with the best ninjas of the Uzumaki clan, concentrating the greatest force at that point. Among the four nations, Suna stood out as the weakest, so it would be easier to deal with them, even if they had a jinchūriki. He knew that all the nations, except Suna, had brought two jinchūriki—seven in total—and Rasa wasn't that threatening, not even Shukaku, compared to the others.

Minato looked toward the place where he had sent the first bijūdama from the west, from the Three-Tails, making it explode right in the middle of the Cloud ninjas to the north, catching both the transformed bijuu there and hundreds of them by surprise with the explosion.

Mikoto was also arriving in that area.

Minato no longer needed to stay in the sky. He could feel everything happening on the island at that moment, now that everyone had arrived.

He noticed that Nibi had become enraged, furious after taking that hit—part of its body had been destroyed, but it quickly regenerated with blue flames. It began forming a new bijūdama while Mikoto prepared alongside the other ninjas, since only one barrier remained between them and the enemies.

As it began preparing, Hanabi opened her eyes, revealing the pattern of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan.

"If that thing gets through the barrier, I can stop it. It won't..." Mikoto began, bracing herself for what was coming.

"Everyone, stay alert!" the Uzumakis shouted.

"Commander, should we create water barriers to weaken the attack before it reaches the main one?" one of the ninjas yelled.

"If we do that, many of you will be exposed and killed as soon as the water barriers are destroyed!" said the commander, since the water barriers would have to be formed outside the main one that surrounded the island, in an attempt to stop the attack.

"But commander! Even if some of us die there, we'll still be saving many others! If that attack explodes inside the hideout, our children and women will be hit!" exclaimed one of the Uzumakis, ready to sacrifice himself, as others seemed to support his decision.

The commander clenched his teeth, looking ahead. He saw that Mikoto, from the Konoha group, was preparing something, but he needed to make a decision.

However, before he could say anything, someone appeared beside Mikoto. She looked surprised and saw Minato—her Minato.

"Decided to give up staying up there?" she asked with a smile.

He returned his usual smile. "I'm here to help," Minato said, sensing everything happening around the island, except for a small part to the south—nothing to worry about.

The bijūdama was almost ready now, generating a force that pushed the surrounding water backward.

"Leave that to me," he said, raising his hand. A vast circle of energy began to form in his palm—the rasengan—as he waited for the attack.

The Raikage, watching from afar, noticed Minato's appearance and narrowed his eyes in fury and caution, wondering if that was just another clone.

As soon as Nibi finished preparing to fire, Minato flashed and, in the next instant, shot forward like a yellow lightning bolt, surprising the Raikage, who immediately realized that this one was the real Minato.

In the final milliseconds, before the bijūdama could be launched from the beast's mouth toward the barrier, Minato appeared before it, shining intensely. He materialized with a massive Rasengan at his side, now in Sage Mode, infusing chakra into an Ōdama Rasengan.

The next instant, the bijūdama and the power of the enormous Rasengan collided against each other, generating a brutal impact of energy and friction, spreading shockwaves in all directions.

The Kumo ninjas and the Uzumakis behind the barrier were stunned, watching the two energies collide and distort each other in midair.

"You! You're the real one!" roared Nibi, recognizing him from his earlier clones.

"Hello... it's been a while," said Minato with a smile, still pushing his hand forward, sustaining the Rasengan as the clash between the two forces continued.

"You'll pay for everything you've done!" Nibi roared, filled with rage.

Minato could already sense the Raikage's movement coming at high speed, his lightning cloak jutsu bursting with chakra equivalent to that of a bijuu, and he knew he wouldn't have even a second before the man appeared.

So, he forced the Rasengan a bit lower, angling it downward. Its power began to overpower that of the bijūdama, forcing the bijuu's attack to tilt upward.

Before the Raikage appeared and tried to strike him, Minato vanished at the last second, with the attack less than a centimeter from his face, leaving the Rasengan behind. Without his force driving it, the attack lost impact against the bijūdama—but at the same time, the black sphere of energy had already been released from Nibi's mouth. It shot upward, soaring above the Ōdama Rasengan, streaking into the sky over the barrier.

The Raikage, frustrated, dashed through the chaos trying to locate Minato. However, the blond had already reappeared in front of Nibi, using his own chakra to teleport. He then caught the Rasengan falling through the air before launching it directly into the beast's face.

The attack hit squarely, sending Nibi flying backward. Its massive body collided with the water, dragging along its companions before plunging into the sea.

The Raikage, his feet slamming against the water in fury, charged at Minato in the blink of an eye. Minato moved with enough agility to dodge, facing his opponent as if dealing with him were effortless.

"A little impatient, aren't you? Didn't like my clones? I know some of them talked to you," Minato mocked.

The Raikage roared but didn't answer. He tried to strike with his other hand, but Minato spun his body, touching the air with a light geppo-like push to dodge. Then, he created another Rasengan and drove it into the Raikage's stomach, hitting him hard. The impact made him spin upside down in the air before being hurled straight into the sea.

"Raikage!" his subordinates shouted, turning their attention toward Minato as a barrage of jutsu was launched.

Minato saw the attacks, mostly made of lightning, and couldn't help but snort. He turned into light, darting to the right before zigzagging in a straight line and dashing toward the enemies as their attacks struck nothing.

Minato appeared in front of the first one, slicing off his head, and before it even began to separate, he was already on his second victim, doing the same thing. He flashed as light toward the next target, moving at absurd speed while the ninjas couldn't even follow his movements.

Now, his speed was terrifying. If he had already been frightening before, killing ninjas through teleportation, with the power of the Light Fruit, Minato no longer needed seals to move, nor did he give his enemies any hint of where he would appear, unlike before, when he always needed the seals for Hiashi.

His body turned into pure light, materializing near his opponent at incredible speed, streaking across the battlefield in straight lines, with zigzags so fast they seemed to tear through space itself.

The Kumo ninjas saw this and were stunned. They couldn't even comprehend where Minato was moving or where he was now. A flash simply passed by them, leaving behind a trail of death. Their comrades were lucky not to have been targets. In just a few seconds, Minato's blade had already killed over a hundred ninjas, and Kumo stood in shock at the sight.

Minato materialized among them, sword in hand. There wasn't even blood—he moved too fast. A simple motion against the enemies' necks made them collapse without even understanding what had happened. There were no screams of pain, only the sight of over a hundred shinobi falling, blood pouring from their necks as their heads had been severed. The remaining ninjas took a step back in terror.

"You bastard!" shouted A, cloaked in lightning, charging toward Minato. The blond only looked at him curiously. There was a boy beside A—none other than Bee, the future jinchūriki of the Eight-Tails. Still young, he tried to follow his master but was quickly left behind.

The Raikage advanced with fury and rage from the sea, emerging from the bloody water strewn with decapitated heads. Behind him, Nibi also roared, exploding the ocean's surface into waves.

Minato analyzed his options. First, he needed to get rid of that bijuu before anything else. When Nibi tried to recover, rising back above the water, Minato's body shone brightly. He shot straight toward the beast before A or anyone else could react. He materialized atop Nibi's still half-submerged body and placed his hand on its back.

Before it could react, the bijuu vanished—leaving only Minato falling back into the water.

"Well, that takes care of him. Good luck trying to come back," he mocked, knowing he had teleported the beast to a remote region in the middle of the ocean, where he had left a kunai placed there by the Fish Clan.

His Sage Mode, however, began to fade, drained by the absurd amount of chakra he had used.

He sensed something right after and his eyes turned toward the final barrier, which was beginning to break around the island. He didn't wait for a reaction from the Kumo ninjas. He vanished instantly, reappearing within Uzumaki territory at the exact moment a bijūdama was about to strike the center of the island after piercing through the barrier.

Quickly, Minato formed a sequence of hand seals. The bijūdama entered his teleportation jutsu before vanishing, and he redirected it. He had left sealing marks as a precaution on the bodies of several Kumo ninjas he had killed earlier, and now, the attack was sent right there.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM

The Kumo ninjas hadn't even had time to react to the deaths of their comrades or the disappearance of their bijuu. Suddenly, a colossal explosion erupted in their midst. They didn't even have time to mourn the loss of their beasts before hundreds were killed instantly.

Minato stood firm, watching from afar as the flash from the north illuminated the sky. He had massacred countless enemies—he didn't feel proud of it, but he knew it was necessary. Now, he had to focus: Uzushiogakure no longer had any barriers to protect it.
