As I landed on the ground getting ready for the battle to begin, The spiky head titan got on all fours. It pointed it's head directly at me and a spike came from the top of its head.
" shit I need to stop it before it shoots another spike at us". I thought to myself as I saw the titan getting ready to attack.
I called upon my roots to grab the titans head. The roots swiftly moved towards the titan and wrapped around its head pulling the head back facing the spike up into the air. The titan had no time to stop his attack and shot the spike up into the air.
"Now roots hold it still". I said as I made the roots wrap around it pinning it to the ground.
The titan struggled as my roots wrapped around squeezing its body down onto the ground. As the roots held down the titan the spike that it shot in the air started to come back down. The spike was directly above the titan.
I focused on pending the titan to the ground. I pierced my roots through its arm to hold it down, so it wouldn't move an inch.
"AAAAAAYY". The titan screamed as it was getting pinned down.
Then suddenly the titan's stomach started to move frequently. Right as the spike was coming out the titan the titan shot another Spike out of his stomach, deflecting the spike that was coming down on it.
"Ahh' I had a feeling it wasn't going to be that easy". I said to myself as I saw the spike miss the titan.
"But I already have my roots in it so it's game over". I said to myself as I made the roots shot all over its body.
I had 15 pierce the chest of the titan, then I had three roots on each limb go into its body and destroy it. It was a quick battle but I knew if I didn't hurry up it would have destroyed us in a matter of seconds.
I looked over at the other people to see how they were doing to my surprise they're titan was also dead.
"Wow' you guys finished that quickly". I said to D-low, Samantha and all the other people who helped.
"yeah you're one of the talking". D-low said to me while looking at the titan behind me.
"Well I had to end it quickly or it would have destroyed us". I said to D-low as I to look up to them.
As we were talking for a bit Penny looked over the side of the school roof. She looked at both the titans with pure curiosity in her eyes.
"Hey keep those bodies there I'm coming down". Penny yields from the top of the school as she starts to come down.
Shortly after she yelled down, Maya ran out of the school building. Ethan and the two twins with her too.
"Kane are you okay". Maya said while coming out of the school.
"Yeah I'm fine we took the times down pretty quickly so nothing bad really happened". I said Maya starts to come closer to me.
"I'm sorry Kane I wish we could have come out here and help you. But the fire was so hot that we couldn't come anywhere near the front of the building". Maya told me.
"It's fine it's fine, is everyone safe inside"? I asked Maya to change the subject.
"Yes we evacuated them all to the back of the school. Rain was there to watch over them" Maya told me that they got everyone to safety.
"Well that's good. We should start to head in". I said to Maya as I pointed at the front door of the school.
But before we could go back inside Penny came running out.
"Wait you guys can't leave yet we have to take an exam in the body". Penny said to everyone as she ran outside.
Everybody looked at her with confusion wondering what she was talking about.
"What do you mean examine the bodies?" Ethan asks penny.
"Well that's what I mean so we can learn more about them, and plus they have valuable material" Penny said to them all but they just got even more confused.
"Here Penny uses this to examine their bodies" I said to Penny as I threw her the dagger that Oliver made me.
Everybody looked really confused, but I started to tell them all what we found after examining their bodies. Then I told them all how the crystals can be used to make weapons. After I explained for a little bit they started to understand why she wanted to experiment on their bodies so much.
With that some people started to help Penny cut open the bodies and find the crystals. The crystals in the titans were huge; they were bigger than our bodies.
"All right well I think I'm going to head inside for now". I told everyone as I started the head inside.
Maya and the others stayed out there to help Penny and to watch over to make sure that no other titans attacked. But I decided to go inside. I wasn't feeling tired, I was just really hungry.
"Huu, I need to get some food". I said to myself as I started walking towards the cafeteria.
As I was walking towards the cafeteria I started to smell something. It was a delicious smell that I haven't smelled in a really long time. I started walking quicker and quicker to the cafeteria as I did the smell got stronger and stronger. Then I was finally there and I saw a glorious pot with delectable stew in it.
"Smells good doesn't it" an older lady's voice said behind the counter.
As the older lady turned around I noticed it was Lucy's and Aaliyah's mom.
"Well some people went out a couple days ago and found four deer. They killed one and brought the rest back, looks like we're starting to live good". she told me as she looked down at the pot with a smile on her face.
"Well that's good news, were any of them a female?" I asked her as I started to go up towards the serving counter.
"Yep, they were two female and the other one was male hopefully we can breathe them," she says to me as she starts to pour a bowl of stew.
" well wouldn't that be nice". I said to her with a smile on my face.
" yes it would be good here you go eat up you did a good job today didn't you". She said to me while handing a bowl of stew to me.
