Chapter 5 - Chapter 4: [Bother]

A/N: Whassup readers! Back here again to pass time- I mean uh. . . continue to be a great author... haha. Anywho, as always, please leave suggestions on how to improve my story further, whether now or in the future. Sorry for this one being a little short, I will compensate by releasing another chapter... eventually. Thanks as always!

"Ophis, huh..." I spoke aloud, repeating the words I just heard from this deceptively small loli in my head.

Deciding to keep a calm expression in the face of one of the most powerful beings in this verse, I responded to her question. . . no, demand? with a calm tone.

"Thanks for the offer, but I am afraid I will have to pass." I responded, pushing back some of my deep black hair in the process.

"Why?" Ophis responded, getting straight to the point.

"Well, for starters, I really have no reason to help a stranger. Also, I don't think joining what is essentially a terrorist group is too great of an idea for my current self." I responded, trying to stay as confident as possible.

As soon as I finished speaking, I could see a slight twitch of anger appear on the god's face. Preparing for an oncoming battle, I secretly started to channel power into my fingertip.

"Very well. I will return another day. You are strong, strong enough to defeat 'him'." The Dragon God loli who ruled over the void stated, before dissappearing as quickly as she appeared.

*Sigh* I let out the breath I was unconsciously holding, grateful for escaping that situation alive.

"Well, I need to get a good night's rest, especially after that." I said aloud, before climbing in bed, falling asleep rather quickly after my first day of school.

"What a bother. . ." A handsome young man with glasses on said, clearly bothered at the current situation.

"You. . . what are you?" A young girl with dark hair and magenta eyes said, baffled at the situation in front of her.

Getting to school as I did the day before, I began my day in a rather sour mood. My sleep was terrible, afraid that another insane being with unfathomable power would show up again to further ruin my day.

"And I missed breakfast." I said to myself, a single tear rolling down my cheek at the tragedy.

*Ring*

And as quickly as the day began, it was also over. Walking outside the school gates, I decided to start to head back towards my home. Pushing up my sunglasses, I hopped on my bike and sped off towards my paradise.

That was the plan, at least. If I wasn't ambushed by this damn stray.

"Kekeke. . . fresh food" A large stray demon with hideous features spoke aloud to me, its raspy voice filling the air.

"Hey, why do you have to make my bad day worse?" I asked rhetorically, before hopping off of my bike to face the stray.

Taking a look at the stray, it really was remarkably hideous. Large spikes coming out of it's sickly green flesh, a manic grin plastered onto it's disfigured face, it truly was a. . . sight to behold.

"Lets get this over with." I said, before taking off my glasses, revealing my six eyes.

Although fundamentally the same as Gojo Satoru's six eyes, mine had a slight aesthetic difference. Whilst they held the same mesmerizing glow and shine, they were pitch black like the night sky.

The stray, slightly scared by the ominous power hidden beneath those eyes, decided to attack right away.

"You..!" The demon shouted, lunging towards me with it's claws stretched outwards.

"Go ahead... make my day." I said, gathering mana into my fingertips before forming it into my technique.

Flicking the concept of towards the demon, I watched as it was completely obliterated from reality, as reality tried to fill the empty space left behind.

Suddenly, I heard a small sound behind me. Turning quickly, I saw Sona, or should I say, 'Souna' Sitri/Shitori standing behind me with a shocked expression on her face.

"You... what are you?!" She asked, conpletely shocked at the scene that just unfolded in front of her very eyes.

"What a bother..." I said, looking at this inconvenience with distain.
