As they approached the border of the neighboring empire, Lyle and Nicholas led their group through the rugged mountain terrain, navigating carefully to avoid detection. They knew that crossing into the empire without permission would be risky, so they opted to skirt around the border instead.
The journey through the mountains was arduous, with steep slopes and treacherous terrain testing their endurance at every turn. But despite the challenges, they pressed on, their determination unwavering.
As they traveled, they kept a sharp lookout for any signs of patrols or border guards. They moved swiftly and quietly, using their skills to evade detection and minimize their chances of being discovered.
They would come across the patrols and border guards several times during their journey, but luckily for them, the most powerful amongst them would never be above a Titled Knight or Mage, and with their power, they could hide everybody with their darkness relatively easily from detection.
