Location: Soarele Blestemat, Balaur's Voice
Φ In the very front of Soarele Blestemat, lies a special area composed of Balaurs body filled with seats, and a large platform in the middle. Throughout, attendees of the previous ball, along with the Ministers and their aid's all sit.
In the very middle of the platform, a series of bones protrude, which, like the rest of Balaurs body at the moment, form into a cursed item, and right in front of the four Ministers stand.
Taking a deep breath, Vėja turns her head and says, "Are you three ready?"
Veekeeris says, "Of course. I have always been ready for battle."
Stiprais says, "The chaos that shall come from this will be great, but the institutions that have been built and maintained by us will not falter."
Dragoste nods, then after that, the other two Ministers face him, as Vėja says, "As we stand here, we would like to thank you, Dragoste."
His eyes open wide in surprise, and she says, "It is really that shocking that we'd be given you thanks."
With a little cough, Dragoste says, "I thought you all hated me?"
"While it can be a bit annoying that the Queen chose you specifically to take over the Cursed Heart Region in case something happened to her, you have shown great strength and determination despite the lack of support a man like you should have," Stiprais says.
Veekeeris adds, "You take harassment far worse than we do, especially due to your anathemised nature, and you face it head on without buckling even a bit. You've got a will that many will never have in their entire lives, despite being only 50 years old."
Vėja says, "We know that we also haven't been the easiest to you, but know that today you are truly one of us, and that we hope, despite all of the past trials and tribulations, we can all work together towards a better future."
With a bright smile, Dragoste says, "I wish for nothing more as well; I am sure they would both want for that looking down from above."
"Good, now let's review before we start."
Φ Using my enhanced sight, I look down towards Balaur's bones from my seat and say, "Where the hell is Willow? I thought he would love to see this from up close."
Iancu says, "He went to the toilet with Orb and Cyrus."
"Together? Why?"
"How the hell would I know?" Iancu says in a pissy tone.
Suzuka, looking past him from his right, says, "Iancu is upset they didn't invite him as well, or at least that's what I get from his emotions."
Iancu palms her face and pushes her back down as I feel a surge of tears rush up. I say, "Iancu, you really wanted to hang out with them that much?"
"What? NO!"
Grabbing and giving him a hug, I touch the back of his head and say, "You don't need to be defensive about this, Iancu. I know that it's hard to be honest with yourself and your friends. But I promise to punch my stupid husband and brother for leaving you out of this."
Φ Iancu tries grabbing Maple's face to push her off, and Wadim, sitting beside Suzuka, says, "Looks like someone is a ladies' man."
Ivana, Gheorghe, and Elia all say, "Uwu!"
Finally getting Maple off of him, Iancu turns and says, "I WILL KILL YOU ALL!"
Suzuka starts laughing and then says, "I will go ask when they are coming back so you won't be lonely."
"NO, YOU WON'T!
Suzuka gets up and tries to run over to Avram, sitting beside Stelara, and Iancu begins blocking her.
Φ Staring at all of the kids playing to the right side of us, I say, "We have come a long way, haven't we, Dumnorix?"
"Don't be getting teary-eyed now, Abbán. We still have a lot more victories to be had and a lot more celebrations to come after. Right now, this is our first step into a world that was sealed away from us."
"I don't want to hear about work ethic from the man who tries to make everything he does a show."
"If I don't make it a show, how will everyone remember to have fun? This is all so we can enjoy ourselves to the fullest, but why wait until everything is finished to start experiencing that joy?"
"You're right about that partner. On that note would be able to come over and visit Dillion. I would like for both of you to actually become friends."
"Don't worry about that, my brother, as far as I am concerned, we have already been great friends. You see, I was the one who actually ordered those children of the Red Branch to bully him, so he would learn great character."
"Wait, that was you? Are you insane!"
"But if he fought back against those bullies, he would have great amounts of confidence. Did I perhaps make a mistake?"
"NOT EVERYONE CAN PUNCH THEIR WAYS OUT OF EVERYTHING YOU DULLARD! I take back what is I said, not getting infected with the Dumnorix brain words is only a positive for his health."
"Oh, don't be like tha-."
Covering Dumnorix's mouth, I say, "They're starting. No more words."
"What a tight ass you still are."
Φ Veekeeris, taking a deep breath, speaks into the bone in front of him, and suddenly, throughout all of Balaur's bones, his voice is projected towards all the citizens of Căderea-Dracului.
"To my fellow countrymen, I thank you all for attending this joyous celebration, for coming to honour those who have long since passed, for coming to treat each of your fallen brothers and sisters as if they matter. Over these last few days, you have shown happiness, anger, fear, nervousness, confusion, hunger, distrust, discomfort, wonder, anxiety, arrogance, courage, embarrassment, disgust, jealousy, intrigue, kindness, annoyance, hope, and love. You have honoured those who have passed by, expressing all they had as they lived, and I thank you for that from the bottom of my heart. Today, be proud of your fellow countrymen, because when your time comes to be buried among us all, they will honour you with such passion as well."
Cheers move throughout the entire area, and Stiprais stepping up says, "But we who stand here before you have not been as strong or courageous as all of you. There have been many worries and many anxieties that have caused issues throughout our country, and today we will be answering many of them and providing you with our plans forward. And for this topic, there is no place better to start than with the seat of power of our country. The Queen of Blestemate. Today, we will tell you that our Queen lives, despite all of the rumours of her life coming to an end or her having been killed by us; all she lives. Yet our Queen is sick, and we will allow you to see her right now."
Throughout all of Căderea-Dracului, members of the Cursed Heart Army, holding pieces of Balaur's body, press down on them, and soon large bodies of water similar to those found in the Church of the Church Sky appear, and in front of them all, a woman covered in a bloody cocoon lies on a bed, with a man standing beside her.
"As you all know from the legends of her battle with the Nephilim, that is our Queen's regeneration cocoon she lies in to heal from injuries. She has expressly stayed there for only a short while now. She has been trying to heal normally, but the situation called for her to use such an ability to be up and running. By the end of the year, she should hopefully be healed, and if you doubt this is her, you can see the 1st seat Count Orlok standing right beside her. He never leaves her side, and would never lie about such things."
Throughout all of Căderea-Dracului, fear, confusion, anger, and sadness overcame the citizens, depressing the mood and causing a deep anxiety to hang over all of the ministers' heads.
Turning his head, Stiprais says, "This situation does seem dire, but it doesn't seem to be outside of how we predicted they would act."
Veekeeris says, "Have to lie about the cocoon, when she actually unconscious seems to have reduced the depth of the blow."
Vėja says, "Our Queen's title of being a giant slayer is one of the more well-known things about her; very few will accept this as some kind of lie. Especially with Orlok's help."
Stiprais says, "I have to thank you for coming up with such a strategy, Dragoste. Without your constant chats with him during his switches with Stelara, we never would have been able to pull it off."
Dragoste says, "His loyalty lies with just the Queen, but even he has a level of fealty to the country if things get dire enough. Besides, he can't just deny a request from an ancient family like my own."
Vėja, stepping forward, says, "Now, let's try and calm those nerves."
Location: Hallways of Căderea-Dracului
Φ Orb and Willow, skipping forward, start staring out the windows of Căderea-Dracului, and as their eyes peer out, they're mouths hang open, seeing the bones of Balaur's body.
"Behemoths really are amazing," Orb says with a shining eye.
"I wish I could get my own," Willow says, drooling.
Bătrânula, walking behind them all, says, "That would be quite hard since their only one of each."
"What?"
"Yes, most behemoths only ever exist one at a time. There are no other versions of them throughout the planet."
"Wait, that doesn't make sense. To my knowledge, it was said that the current balaur was found as a baby when this country was built. If this thing is one of a kind, it should be way older."
"When behemoths die, they reappear somewhere else in the world after an unknown period of time, usually in certain regions, which is why they tend to be named after where they reappear. To this day, none know why or how this happens, but due to the fact that they can reproduce with all kinds of life, many think they are merely a mutation that occurs when different wonderbeasts happen to successfully over enough generations."
"INTERESTING!" Willow says, jumping up and down.
Turning his head, Orb looks at Cyrus, who is dropping his head, and grabs him by the hand, dropping him in front of the window. "Look how cool this is."
With a half-hearted smile, Cyrus says, "It is amazing, b-but I have seen bigger things in Av-vesta."
Orb's hair turns silver, and soon he says, "But this is a wild beast, for all we know it might one day attack all of us, Cyrus, and when the time comes, who will defend us all?"
Panic runs across Cyrus's face, and he pushes his forehead against the window with such intense force that it almost breaks. Bătrânula, grabbing his horns, starts holding back Cyrus's face, stopping the force.
"I MUST TAKE IT ALL IN TO PROTECT YOU GUYS!"
Rubbing Cyrus's head, Orb says, "Good job, Cyrus."
Bătrânula says, "Nothing is going to happen. Besides, it's not like Dragoste would let Balaur freak out."
Confused, Willow says, "How does Dragoste affect this?"
With a kind smile, Bătrânula says, "Didn't you know, Dragoste mother is Draga Frumos, they are one of the ancient bloodlines within Blestemate, who are mainly responsible for all issues involving balaur. All the changes you see to Balaurs' body for this festival, and the maintenance of all the functions that use Balaurs are handled by them."
With teal hair, Orb lets go of Cyrus and falls right towards the ground, but is caught by Cyrus's tail.
Seeing the shock across Orb's face, Willow turns to him and says, "Orb, is everything okay?"
Yet as Orb's hair turns silver, his eyes open wide, and he says, "I have made a mistake."
