The night that Margaret was supposed to be get married she slept with the others whom had just gotten married.
Each of them comforted her during the night because she would cry for about fifteen minutes before sleeping for at times thirty minutes.
Rex slept with Lilith who was not pleased with the situation but she was happy that Margaret decided to do what she actually wanted to do.
The female Heavenly Judge and the Shadow Commander gathered people from the Heavenly Realm and Demon Realm to help the Mortals become less drunk.
During the night, screams of terror from those who were truly drunk sounded. Not really screams but more like slurry pleas for help that could not be understood.
Some times some other drunk people would help only to be dragged away like the people who was already being dragged.
The Mortals were forced to take some disgusting cleansing liquid. It looked and smelled like poison to the drunk people. When it finally was swallowed, the people could feel themselves about ready to vomit their entire bodies out.
There was a spot that smelled worst than death. However, when the vomiting stopped the people could not tell what had actually happened.
They barely could walk in the makeshift tent by the female Heavenly Judge and the Shadow Commander. When the people would return, another liquid that smelled like perfume was forced down their throats. That liquid allowed them to sleep instantly.
"To think that we are having to do this nasty work because people cannot control themselves." The female Heavenly Judge was angrily speaking.
"To be truthful, people cannot control themselves and since this was supposed to be a week long of marriage with all of the drinks around. It was bound to happen." The Shadow Commander spoke.
"Are you defending them or explaining it to me?" She was angry with his explanation.
"I am merely stating facts. Even in the Shadow Realm, when several marriages happen back to back. Most of the people either get super drunk or too tired of watching and leave." The Shadow Commander said while hugging the female Heavenly Judge.
"Whatever. I am glad that this operation is going smoother than anticipated." She spoke.
The Shadow Commander ensured that the smell did not reach the side where the people slept. People from the Heavenly Realm used different style barriers to allow entry and exit of people but the smell was not allowed to entered. While other people were forced to use their barriers to try and push the smell away.
That was harder than anticipated with the difference between Mortal Cultivators and Heavenly Cultivators. However they stayed like that until the end of the marriages. Once the next day came and the tents were taken down, the barriers lost all of their Qi and failed. Thankfully, the smell was already gone but the aftermath of it was still bad.
The next morning came. Most people were being scolded by everyone else because of the drunkenness of the people. They learned that Margaret did not get married because of the people were not even close to the other marriages.
People forced themselves to apologize to Margaret and Rex. Rex did not care for their apologies because he was affected by the emotions from the women. His anger was being slowly released.
The women were displeased but accepted the apologies. Finally about lunch, Rex exploded because people were trying to apologize to him.
"YESTERDAY WAS MARGARET'S DAY! GO APOLOGIZE TO HER FORGET ABOUT ME! IF I HEAR ANOTHER APOLOGY, I WILL RIP APART EVERYONE WHO HAS APOLOGIZED TO ME!" Rex's voice was echoed throughout the area.
The ground vibrated because the Heavenly and Godly Qi reacted with Rex's anger. He was not wanting any more either pure or half hearted apologies.
Lilith glared at the people and forced Rex to calm down in the house. Iris, Liz, Violet, and Amber all truly felt tiny when Rex's anger exploded within themselves. They were already trying to cope with Margaret and Rex now was beyond angry because of people trying to cope to him instead of Margaret.
The after was slow and full of apologies. Margaret became numb to them shortly after Rex exploded with anger. She could tell that most people were trying to keep him calm for the ceremony that night.
The female Heavenly Judge and the Shadow Commander both went to help calm down Rex. If he had another outburst of uncontrolled Heavenly Qi. It would more than likely be enough to tear apart the Ninth Mortal Realm. Since the Heavenly Realm already fixed one Mortal Realm, having to fix another would be suicide.
The night came and the Shadow Commander was the one to lead the ceremony this day. It was mainly because the people needed to ensure that Rex could stay calm during this. He would be the second best choice currently. The first would have been Deathholder but he had already had his chance.
The bride came up. The crowd was too quiet during this ceremony. This was already triggering Rex. The Shadow Commander glanced at Lilith who motioned for the female Heavenly Judge to hear a whisper.
She silently gave a command to the Heavenly Cultivators to start making a little noise because this quietness from the Mortals was upsetting Rex.
Once the slight noise entered, Rex calmed down a tiny amount. Sweat rolled down the females backs because Rex was already hard enough to get calm during the afternoon.
The ceremony finished and the after party was short with just a tiny meal and cake before everyone went on their night.
Rex did not want to upset Margaret but he was already tilted by the people getting too drunk and apologizing to him instead of her.
Margaret did not want her purity taken. She wanted Rex to be calm for the next day.
She could feel the love from Rex and his arms felt like a barrier protecting her giving her a much needed good rest that night.
