As the night seemed to come around, Rex could have sworn that something was watching him and the women sleeping.
Luna slept in a awkward position but that allowed her body to grow stronger. Seraphina slept in her draconic form because it felt natural to her. As for the Spider Queen Death set up a small web to protect them from the horrors of the night.
Rex gently looked around. He was for sure that his instincts were not wrong. As he scanned the area, he felt as if he had unconsciously looked at a predator in the distance.
Rex knew this feeling was not one that was weak. He had felt pressure behind the glare. Before Rex could try and delve deeper into the predator. It vanished as if it had never been there.
This confused him as hell. A common higher ranking predator would never leave such prey around. He figured that it must have been either Slimy or Gooey.
In the distance, a little girl smiled and disappeared. She had on a robe like Frulen did but her robe said deceptive on it.
She too did a quick couple of hops to appear back in there world. She was sitting in the area that was calm without anything happening.
"FRULEN." Once Frulen came the duo began to talk about Rex.
Meanwhile
Once the predator feeling was gone. Rex tried to scan the area. The wolves came around and ensured that nothing was currently around them. Rex felt that this was truly upsetting but nothing could be done currently.
As he tried to sleep, he felt something hit his face but he could not wake up from it.
"That sleep poison will help you out. Just be glad that we have friends here thanks to Seraphina." The Spider Queen Death whispered.
She had already noticed that Rex stirred even though her web did not physically touch where Rex was. The ground movement on the ground was enough to cause her to wake.
Rex was able to sleep peacefully throughout the night. The Spider Queen Death had also noticed who was staring at them.
Even then, during the night two more appeared. She was crying because her web could have easily destroyed by any of them appearing. It seemed like they were just curious as to who Rex was.
Once they got a good sight of him, they disappeared just as they appeared. If one were to look at the standings now, Slimy and Gooey were now seen on the standing at nine and ten.
They felt as if they did not help Rex for checking him out. The consequences would have been dire.
The morning came and Rex was the last one to wake due to the poison. Luna became a true fairy. She flickered her right wing once and allowed the dust to settle on Rex.
She turned back to a human. She did not want Rex to feel like that her fairy form was weak.
She has slightly shorter than her human form at five foot four (163 CM or 1.640 meters) while her human form had more muscles showing. Her fairy form did not have any visible muscles.
That was far from the truth. Her fairy form could instantly destroy a planet with a snap of her fingers due to the power coursing through her.
Seraphina looked around. She felt as if something had been watching them. Rex stirred up. He could feel his head pounding.
As he looked around, he could feel it in his bones. The duo were slowly coming towards them.
He got up and stretched his arms and legs. His legs seemed to become scaly now, his chest became wider, the tiny wings appeared on his back, his fangs dripped with poison, and he could smell the duo seriously close.
He walked out of the web as if it belonged to him. He focused everything into his stomach and let out a roar that seemed to shake the world itself.
Now his name appeared in beast ranking. The name was called fusion of different creatures into a human body. He appeared number eight in the rankings.
He blitzed through the forest and landed a solid punch on Slimy's skeleton head. It got launched deeper into the forest. As for the Gooey, it wrapped around Rex's left leg trying to dissolve it into nothing. Gooey could not damage the scales of the draconic blessing from Seraphina.
Rex kicked a tree until Gooey had to let go of the leg. Once it did, Rex stomped at Gooey only for it reform around his foot.
Rex's anger shot through the roof. He could feel his Demonic Powers increasing through this form. Slimy came back running trying to launch an attack on Rex.
Seraphina, Spider Queen Death, Luna, and finally the Shadow Queen all in that order from left to right watched in bated breath if Rex could handle the duo.
The women who could see the standings all saw that these two were ranked ninth and tenth. While Rex was ranked eighth and had just achieved this form.
The current advantage was to Slimy and Gooey until they knew for certain what Rex could do.
His thin wings fluttered wildly as if he was charging something big. They begin to glow deep red. His scales seemed to also heat up as well.
Gooey could not handle the heat. It had actually cracked some of the scales on the leg and it was glad until it saw that Slimy got burned to death by Rex's breath.
It burned through the protective slime on the skeleton. Once it was gone, Rex did the same to Gooey. The duo once feared even among various other beasts now reduced to nothing.
Rex could not feel his arms or legs. Seraphina felt that the breath was not only part of all of their powers but also focused inwardly on Rex's straight energy.
When Rex turned around, they saw hungry eyes that seemed to indicate that either he need nourishment or other ways to be replenished.
