With Hana
Hana had managed to work around Mizore's chakra armor. Once she got used to the speed he was fairly easy to deal with.
She had to keep watching his punches though, he was strong and if he made contact it would be hard to recover.
The battlefield was scarred with craters from the man's punches and her and her ninken's Gatsuugas.
Hana knew that she was wearing down that chakra armor that he had on. It would only take a few more bouts of taijutsu to completely shatter it. He relied on that armor far too much and once it was gone she would have the edge.
She was getting ready to charge again when the ground started to rumble and she saw a huge whale made of ice crash into the glacier causing it to become unstable.
"Fubuki, Mikore! We're retreating!" She heard the man who Naruto was fighting call.
Before she could catch him, Mizore turned around on his snowboard and rush into the direction of the voice.
The Inuzuka was about to pursue until the ground cracked beneath her and started sinking into the water.
It was then that her sensei appeared next to her and they realized that they needed to get back to the ship before the whole glacier was destroyed.
With Satsuki
Satsuki was panting. This Fubuki woman was good and she had used up a fairly large amount of chakra after having to constantly burn away her Hyoton techniques.
The woman kept her distance and refused to get close enough to engage in taijutsu.
Satsuki had almost gotten trapped in her ice prison, however, she managed to use a Kawarimi at the last minute with a large piece of ice that she had attached an explosive not to earlier. This bought her enough time to find a place for cover.
However things weren't looking good for her after the woman started dropping ice bombs from the sky. Whenever she dropped one of those small crystal orbs attached to a kunai, they would explode into a torrent of spikes that rise up out of the ground and try to finish her off.
It was a real pain in the ass dodging all of those.
"Katon: Goukyaku no Jutsu!"
Satsuki had just fired off another Katon jutsu that narrowly missed her opponent. Just then the ice she was standing on started to tremble and crack. She them caught a glimpse of a huge whale made of ice destroy part of the glacier. She just knew this place was going down soon.
That's when she heard a voice, "Fubuki, Mizore! We're retreating!"
She knew that voice that was the man that Naruto-nii was fighting. Was he okay?
Mizore spared one last look at Satsuki before flying off in a different direction.
Satsuki knew that the battle was over and started heading towards the ship before the glacier collapsed.
On board the Ship
It had been a good hour since they had barely managed to get off that glacier before it collapsed on itself. Sandayu had started explaing everything after Naruto had demanded answers to what just happened.
Apparently Fujikaze Yukie is just and alias and her real name if Kazahana Koyuki, the rightful heir to the throne of Yuki no Kuni. What a headache they'd gotten themselves into. There was a coup d'etat in the country ten years ago where the former ruler's brother staged a coup with the help of hire Yukigakure shinobi. Now he's after that Haxagonal Crystal that Koyuki wear because it is the key to the Kazahana family treasure.
'Well this is one hell of a mess. Does this kind of shit happen on everyone's first C-rank missions? I honestly thought that saving princesses was just something that academy kids imagined shinobi did.' Naruto thought.
"Ne sensei we're continuing this mission right?" Satsuki really didn't want to turn back after they learned the truth of what was going on.
Obito sighed, "Well honestly I wouldn't want you doing this kind of thing for your first mission, but it shouldn't be too difficult. You've already fought against these three shinobi, and their likely Doto's go to shinobi from the stories I've heard from Kakashi. Hell, Naruto almost killed his opponent. We just have to be prepared this time and make sure we finish the job for good."
Everyone in the room was listening to the man intently, even Koyuki who still really didn't want to go back to Yuki no Kuni.
"The parameters of this mission have changed. Our job is still to protect Koyuki-san, but we will also be overthrowing Doto's rule. We're staging our own coup."
This received positive reactions from everyone in the small room, except for Koyuki who was still scowling.
Yuki no Kuni
Naruto and Koyuki were staring at the sight before them, unable to take their eyes away. There was blood and dead bodies everywhere. The train that Doto was on had just fired a wave of kunai out of the sides of the train that pierced through the members of the film crew that had tried to stand up against the ruler of Yuki no Kuni. Hana and Satsuki had managed to cause an avalanche using explosive tags and smoke bombs forcing Doto to flee on the train, leaving all of them in that clearing to lick their wounds.
Now Naruto and Koyuki were standing above the dying body of Sandayu. With his final words he gave Koyuki a speech about why he did this and why he believed in her to free their country. With those final words the life faded from his eyes, never to return.
Koyuki just couldn't take any more pain and suffering so she ran. She ran in no particular direction and only stopped when she reached the side of the cliff.
Naruto was not too far behind her when she stopped running and just stared off into the distance. He was about to take her hand and lead her back to the others, when a mechanical arm grabbed hold of before the young man could and pulled her into a blimp that was rising up the side of the cliff and towards his palace.
"Koyuki!" He yelled, not knowing what to do. All of his ideas and techniques and yet he didn't have a plan of action for what the situation called for. He couldn't fly, at least not yet
There was nothing he really could do. Then he remembered what he did only a few days beforehand. Naruto knew exactly what to do, he needed to get her back safely.
