Clyde kept pulling, straining, and then sighed. He stared at the wyvern's corpse for a moment before realizing something unpleasant-he was still not strong enough.
His body had been pushed far beyond its limits during the battle. His muscles trembled whenever he moved, his magical energy had been nearly exhausted. Even though the wyvern was dead, Clyde could not immediately continue. If another powerful monster appeared now, he might not be able to deal with it.
Clyde clicked his tongue and sat down on the floating platform and rested for a while.
For several minutes Clyde just sits still while slowly recovering his strength. The strange wind of the Ruin passed over his body, carrying ash and small fragments of debris through the air. His breathing gradually became steadier, and the exhaustion weighing down his limbs slowly receded.
