Abaddon hadn't seen Seras this jittery in quite a long while. His wife was positively buzzing out of her scales.
It dawned upon him that this was the first time in recent memory that she would get to fight in her own body. It helped him better understand her excitement.
Seras may not have been a deity of war anymore, but she thrived in causing anarchy and havoc wherever she could. And given that she was now essentially about to topple a large city, she was feeling more than a little bit excited.
As they descended, Abaddon could hear virtually all of his wife's thoughts streaming into his head unrestrained.
'Can't end it too quick... I wanna make this last, I want to have a story to tell the kids! Make them realize how cool their mom is! Christ, I'm so fucking nervous..
