Magnus heard the deep rumbling in the distance that could only mean one thing. Although he couldn't see clearly over the wall, the sight he had was enough to see Octavius' reserve forces marching on the city.
"Tch... Send a messenger to those back at the camp to start marching." Magnus ordered the man next to him with a calm, authoritative tone.
"Your grace. It will take at least an hour before they arrive." The man lowered his eyes at Magnus's sharp gaze.
"Do what I have ordered. Rush them if you must." The man nodded and ran off. Looking at the army approaching once again, Magnus took a deep breath and looked within the city. Cassius had broken through the first line of defence, forcing Octavius to mobilise more troops to defend his flank.
