In the following days, aside from reading, Jiang Yu spent time walking around the village with Zhou Ying, and the two of them also went to the city to shop.
Liu Ze and Xiaoxue returned the next day.
After all, when the big ship docked, he was the only one on this side of Cheng County. Although there was a steward, it was the first time the big ship sailed so far, so he went to oversee things.
Unexpectedly, by the time they returned, the marriage arrangement of elder brother/brother-in-law was already settled. They were just waiting a few days before heading to Nanyang Prefecture to discuss the wedding details.
Moreover, Jiang Yu and Zhou Ying had agreed that after the provincial exam, they would marry directly. Once the results were announced, everyone could directly set off to the Capital City.
The couple was shocked to hear the news. They had only been away for a day and a half, yet such a big event had happened!
