Xiaomi grabbed two wooden swords, dragged Wei Ziang along, and started running up the mountain. It wasn't until they entered the shade that she slowed down.
"Xiaomi, where exactly are you taking me, and why did you bring the wooden swords?"
Wei Ziang expressed his confusion, having no idea what Xiaomi was planning.
"Come on, don't ask. I won't harm you anyway. Let's hurry up; time waits for no one."
Wei Ziang had no choice but to follow.
Both of them were familiar with the mountain path, and the small path on the ground had been widened by frequent treading.
It wasn't until they were close to a cave that Xiaomi stopped, pulling a black cloth strip from her sleeve pocket.
"I'm taking you to a secret place, but you can't look. If you see it, we can never return."
Wei Ziang looked puzzled, but Xiaomi was already on tiptoe, ready to blindfold him.
"Careful." Wei Ziang stabilized Xiaomi, preventing her from falling, not even having time to ask why.
