Jiang Hu had to deliver vegetables and take Jiang Yu and Liu Hai to school, so he got up early the next day. But by the time he and Jiang Yu got up, the second madam had already prepared breakfast.
They liked to have porridge in the morning and eat something light, so they had to get up early.
While the father and son were eating, the second madam went back to the room to lie down for a bit.
"Dad, how's the syrup coming along? Can I have a taste?" Jiang Yu asked, feeling a little greedy.
A bowl of coarse rice porridge, a few pancakes, and two fried eggs made for a very hearty breakfast.
Jiang Hu took a big slurp, feeling warm and comfortable in his belly.
Hearing Jiang Yu's words, he directly refused.
"Let's wait until I've discussed with your Uncle Liu how to divide it. For now, the syrup belongs to both of our families, not just us."
Jiang Yu didn't seem disappointed: "Alright, but Uncle Liu didn't come yesterday. I guess he'll come with Liu Hai today."
