"He actually helped me, because if the emperor is still alive, I might be dead right now." He looked surprised on what I said and I smile politely.
"That's why I trust him, more than the nobility of Gribe, you can't blame me." I hold tight at the coat, and Akeldama appear behind my back, looking at Sir William and smirk.
"You like my Delaney." He said out of nowhere, and my cheeks went red.
"N-no, you're mistaken it. He's here to report what is happening at the Drivike and what I should avoid." I hold Akeldama's arm, he's holding a sword now, but Sir William is blushing too.
"Really, but I told you, you cannot trust anyone from your nation." He look at Sir William and I hold the hand where he's holding the sword.
"How I can betray princess Delaney if she's the one who saved me, after her family tried to kill me after my mission?" I saw how Akeldama calms down when he heard that and patted my head.
"You're really a good hearted one." Akeldama said and patted my head for the second time.
"The boundaries of Drivike is safe, but you have to be more careful, now that Delaney is missing at Gribe, for sure her father is also looking for Delaney," Sir William warned us and Akeldama nod.
"Now, I will go back to the Drivike, if ever you need to send a message to me, use this." He handed the bird and put some spell before giving it to Akeldama.
"I will cooperate with you, and will do my best to help Delaney when she needed it, can you tell me where you are planning to go at this journey?" He asked and looked at Akeldama.
"The beach, between the boudaries of Drivike, Gribe and Ifitz." Sir William nod and smile at me.
"You can send a message to me anytime, and please be careful. I am not done at giving back your kindness to me," Sir William kneel in front of me, kissed the back of my hand and smile.
"If you ever want to go back to Drivike, please do a strong plan that even the emperor can't stop you, and a fair warning. Drivike is falling, that's why the are targeting the Gribe."
I looked at the sky for the second time, my father is getting older. My brother is greedy and my sister doesn't even know how to become a good leader too.
All of them are fucked up.
