I finally finished one of the worst things in the world (monthly exams), sorry for not uploading any chapters until now, and btw from now on the update stability will be really weird, cause I am really sick right now and will have to study hard because I didn't do well in half of my exams this month.

After Akira have said his name, no one uttered a word, it was a dead silence. We just continued walking to the orphanage...probably to the orphanage.
Because he was taking us from a lot of alleyways and some passages that I...never knew it existed on the first place until now.
So I began to think about it carefully. Maybe he's not taking us to the orphanage in the first place, well he didn't say anything about taking us to the orphanage, he just said, 'Come with us quietly or you will leave me no choice but using the hard way.'
So probably we are going to different place, right?
And guess what? We are in front of the orphanage...HOW THE FUCK DID HE DO THAT?!!
I was in this neighborhood for 3 whole years, and never knew there was this kind of shortcut. I looked at Rina and the others and they were as confused as me, not knowing how we came here this fast.
Then I looked at Akira like waiting for answers, but all he did was shrugging his shoulders like, 'Whatever kid, I don't care.'
So all I could do was just sighing while thinking to myself, 'Maybe I should stop overthinking myself or my mind will explode eventually.'
After standing there for some reason, Akira made his way to the orphanage and we were just behind him.
The place were uncomfortably silent, and for some reason I wasn't feeling well. 'At least I wish Kageyama is okay.'
We stopped just in front of the wooden door of the orphanage.
*Knock knock*
After Akira knocked on the door twice, a familiar deep voice that made me flinch when I heard it said quietly, "Come in." After saying that, Akira opened the door and we all made our way in behind him.
When we looked in, we saw the whole place a mess while the old man that I still don't know his name sitting on the couch and his underlings just standing around the place like nothing happened.
When he saw us with Akira, he raised an eyebrow and looked at Akira in the eyes. About five seconds later he looked at us, or more precise, at me. Then he smiled a little and said, "Looks like we underestimated the little ones a bit."
I was honestly terrified from the look he gave me, it looked like he is looking at a prey- no more like looking at a precious weapon.
After awhile from standing their trying my best to not look away, Rina broke the silence asking, "Where's Kageyama? What did you do to him?!"
The old man moved his gaze from me to Rina, then pointed his finger to a place close to the kitchen, where a body- no it was a corpse that I couldn't see it's face clearly from the blood and beating it took, leaning on the wall.
I knew exactly who was this. Even if I can't see his face at all. His long brown hair, his tan skin, his yellow chemise and brown pants.
It was Kageyama.
*Thud*
I heard a thud on my left and apparently it was Rina murmuring, "impossible..impossible...that's impossible..." While tears began to fall from her eyes.
But at that moment I didn't care about anything.
All I could think of was the memories I had with Kageyama.
Thinking about it, I didn't care much when I saw the caretaker die in front of my eyes, because she was new here so we didn't know her much, and the same goes to her.
But Kageyama was more like a uncle to me, not me alone but all the people in the orphanage.
Seeing him like that made me even cry without knowing and some kids fell unconscious just from the shock.
My heart began to beat faster. A lot of emotions came one after another. Sadness, horror, rage and despair.
I felt like something broke in me and was devoured by an endless darkness.
-3rd person pov-
After sometime the old man started to say something, but apparently no one was paying attention. They all was not one bit focused, some feeling the sadness of losing Kageyama, others fearing what will happen to them next.
While the old man was blabbing, one of his underlings noticed that they were not paying attention to what his boss was saying. He felt they are really rude, so he made his way to Rina then...
*Slap*
He slapped her really hardhard enough, that it left a mark on her face.
"When our boss is talking, you should pay attention bitch."
The slap sound made the caretakers and the kids who was still conscious snap back to reality.
Noah looked at the man with bloodshot eyes thinking, 'This damn asshole!'
But before even thinking of doing anything reckless, the old man stopped talking, then made his way to his underling looking at him calmly saying one word.
"Hawk."
After the old man said that, Akira nodded his head slightly and went to the kitchen, grabbing a machete then throwing it to the old man without uttering a word.
When the old man took the machete from air, he looked at his subordinate with a threatening look that made him flench and can't even move. "You didn't just interrupt me when I.Was.Speaking, but you too did hit her without taking any order from 'Me'. Who do you think you are? What, you want me to call you boss instead?"
With every word the old man said, his subordinate was becoming more and more terrified. Trying to stop the misunderstanding, he replied stuttering a bit, "O..of course not boss. This is just a misunderstanding!"
Raising an eyebrow the old man said, "A misunderstanding? You mean 'I' misunderstood you? So you mean I am the one who was at fault?", "No boss, I would never say such a thing! It's just-" Before even he could continue, the old man took his hand and put it on a wooden table.
Then the old man said menacingly, "If I'm not at fault, then that only leaves you. And when someone did something wrong, he shall be..." Raising the machete over his head, then...
"Punished."
*Swish*
"AHHHHHHH!"
With a swift swing he cut his hand and the table with it. A clean cut that you would tell it's from an experienced person with blades.
While the man was screaming from the pain, the old man looked at him with an expressionless face and said, "From now on remember that actions have consequences, especially when you not think about it clearly. Understood?"
The man tried as much as he could to stop screaming and answered tiredly, "Un..understood Boss."
He tried to reach his severed arm, but the old man stepped on it and said, "You won't need it anymore. So get up and stop being a crybaby."
All of that happened in front of the kids and caretakers. There face was horrified from the view and some vomited all the things they ate.
Noah looked at the view trying his best not to vomit. 'Will I in the future be like this man? Is this the end of my new life?'
After all that happened, the old man looked at the caretakers saying while glaring, "Sorry for my subordinate rudeness, however, he had a point on what he said. So it will be better for me and for you if you become focused, because 'No matter what, never get distracted or let your guard down even if I am her.' Is that clear?"
It was more of an order than an advice that all of the caretakers and the kids that was still conscious, barely though, were scared to death while hearing his deep voice and seeing him glaring to them.
Noah bit his lower lip and he was sweating a lot because of the old man in front of him. Then he heard the old man continue, "I think we took a lot of time already, we should go back to the HQ. Oh and of course you're coming with us, and don't even think of doing any pity tricks."
The last part was more of directed to Noah. Then the men took the caretakers and kids, even the unconscious ones, and before they leave the orphanage, Rina looked behind her at Kageyama's dead body while on the verge of tears.
"Rina."
Hearing Noah's calling for her, she wiped her eyes quickly then continued walking. While on the other hand, Noah looked at Kageyama's body with a look full of rafe and bloodlust, making a vow to himself.
'No matter what...they will all pay for this, ALL OF THEM!'
Then he kept walking, until they found a huge truck then they heard the old man say, "Get in." They all looked at the truck with hesitation in their eyes, but in the end they hipped in the container from the back, however, before the door closed they heard the old man saying, "Don't even think of screaming or expecting any help, this container's metal absorb noise perfectly." then the door closed.
Hours passed.
There is no source of light that could get in, but it was obvious that a lot of time passed, because some from the kids those who were unconscious woke up and began screaming because they thought they became blind from how dark it was, while other kids tried to sleep.
Noah who was sitting cross legged trying to meditate, even with the commotion and the moving truck, heard Sarah whispering to Rina, "Rina, what will happen to us? Will those people do bad things to us?" She asked while crying from fear. "No no, don't worry sweety, nothing will happen to us." Rina embraced her trying to calm her down.
Noah on the other hand clenched his fist tightly, that his fingernails started to pierce his hand, and some blood dropped on the container.
'Those pieces of shit. I will make them regret everything they made us go through, even if it will be the last thing to do in this damn life of mine!'
Suddenly the truck stopped. About five minutes have passed then they heard the door of the container opening, indicating that they will finally get out of this dark and cold place.
They raised there hands in front of their eyes protecting it from the moonlight, that is how dark the place they were in was.
"Get out now. We have arrived." Hearing the old man's voice they felt restless again, but in the end they got out after waking up those who slept or were unconscious.
They were in a forest without seeing anything, only following the light coming from the flashlights that those weird men carried.
It was deadly silent.
The silence was too overwhelming that it felt like they were stepping on bones rather than grass, and it was pretty scary to them and they began sweating buckets.
After minutes of walking they stopped in an unknown place in the forest, hearing the old man saying, "We are here."
They all looked confused because there is nothing here other than trees and grass. The old man went to some random tree putting his hands on it, after retracting it he took three steps behind.
Then suddenly the ground began shaking that it felt like an earthquake, however, in front of them the ground split and opened like a door, there was even stairs leading down.
They all were staring at the entrance in astonishment, then they heard the old man saying loudly, "Welcome to The Shelter."
They all looked at him and thought the same thing. 'Is this...The Shelter?!'

Okay, this chapter should have been uploaded Saturday, there was an error in webnovel and I couldn't open my own fanfiction, and to be honest, I don't know when the problem will be fixed. (The problem should have been fixed already if I uploaded this chapter)
Btw it will take a lot of time until there will be interaction between Mc and the HxH characters. You can say this world is a base to the Mc development more than interacting between the HxH characters.
