I looked down to my clasped hands before letting out the biggest sigh in the past twenty-four hours. Even though I was happy to hear Benedito was not twirling his thumbs for the past three months in my absence, it did not necessarily mean I was happy about the decisions he had made and the manner he had gone through to get there.
Yet that did not mean I did completely hate him either. I figured Danilo and I could have been an extra stress to deal with, but family should not be seen as a liability.
"You going to stay in Texas? I guess with the group being dismantled you'll probably want to go for better climates," I grinned.
Ronaldo waved his hands in dismissal, "Even though I complain about it a lot, I don't think it would make much sense for me to leave. Family is here and with Jose being the new Benedito and jet setting around the world, someone has to keep Ben in check. But enough about me, where have you been all these months?"
