We had set up the party just between my parents' house and mine. A mini bon fire was more towards the field where we had stacked up hay as seating around it with cooler bags packed with ice and beers. Clyde, Leroy and Chip; who was one of his close friends, worked on the barbeque on the grill that Rob and I helped out with whenever they needed us.
Delilah, Ma, Catie; Cody's girlfriend, Maria; Chip's wife, Kelly; Delilah's friend, Grace; Leroy's Ma, and their daughter, JD's younger sister, Shania came in and out of the house as they baked, mingled with Clyde and his friends and occasionally joined us by the bon fire.
JD, Cody, Ben and his friend Zach, Rob, Keith and Donnie; Chip and Maria's sons, Willie and myself were all seated around the bon fire with our portable speaker that played a mix of all our favorite songs whilst we drank our beers. The buzz of alcohol set in and we were all joking around and laughing way too hard for our own good.
