Chapter 9 - Life. 8

Timeline – Volume 6

The Joker of Heaven, the Upsetting Sorcerer and the Miracle Dragon

Jin Skyward's Soliloquy

♦♦♦♦

It's been a few days since we stopped the total destruction of the Vampire factions—the Carmilla faction. However, due to the two progenitors appearing again, both sides decided to put aside their differences and join hands, so a new faction was being formed under those two's guidance and watchful eye.

I, along with everyone in my household had been both busy and relaxed as many things happened after those attacks. There was also news of the recently formed anti-terrorist team [DxD], Azazel and the rest of the leaders of the current DxD Alliance were also helping it be known.

We already had a few meetings on how we would respond to attacks in the future, and we were all set. Right now, I was up on the top floor of my home, reading a book and enjoying the silence. I had put a barrier around the top so no noise would interrupt that silence since there was a lot of it around my home.

Although I wasn't alone, on my lap were Akeno and Lavinia. Kuroka was in her cat form asleep on my head and…between my legs, was Fusae, reading a book as well. I didn't know how long this peace would last, and I would also be traveling to the Shinto realm soon enough, so my schedule was still packed.

Fusae was reading I Am a Cat by Natsume Soseki, considered to be part of Japan's 'Classic Literature'. I had also been meaning to read some, but right now I was reading The Butcher Boy by Patrick McCabe. However, our quiet time was interrupted when the door opened to the rooftop.

I was the only one that looked at it and found…Gabriel there. She waved at me and came over. Once there I lightly stroked both Akeno and Lavinia's heads, it seemed like they were actually asleep. I guess the calm and quiet atmosphere got to them. Fusae looked up from her book and waved at Gabriel too.

"Gabriel? Is something wrong?" I asked. It looked as though she wanted to sit with us, but there was no room for her.

"…No, but Michael does want to see you in Heaven. He said something about a reconstruction project for all of Heaven's floors?" she said and tilted her head.

"Ah…that, yeah I'll go there in a day. I have something to do later on today," I told her. She nodded then…just stared at me. It was still early morning since we had finished having breakfast just an hour ago.

Lavinia suddenly opened her eyes and stared at Gabriel. She looked at Gabriel, at my lap, at Fusae, Akeno and finally at me. She reached over and poked Akeno on the head and that caused her to wake up. Akeno did the same thing and then Fusae looked up as she was being stared at.

Without saying a word to each other, and moving like a hivemind, both Lavinia and Akeno got up. Fusae also did and sat on my left thigh. Akeno and Lavinia leaned their heads against my shoulder and now my right thigh had some space for the angel. This made her happy and she happily sat on my right thigh and gave me a peck on the cheek.

[Amazing. And without saying anything to each other. Your women have leveled up, Partner,] said Ddraig.

{It's even more impressive that Fusae caught on since she's only been here for a short time,} added Albion.

'Women are interesting creatures after all. They operate in a different realm than men,' added Rudra.

And without another word…we went back to relaxing. I would occasionally play with Gabriel and she would sometimes read the book I was reading with me. Lavinia and Akeno did the same, but they managed to fall back asleep while leaning on my shoulder.

That's how part of my morning started.

♦♦♦♦

"Where do you plan on going later on today, Aaron?" asked Fusae.

We had gone back to the library and Lisa, who was also there joined us. There were also a few others there, but they were mostly preoccupied with their own reading or research.

"…To the various underground church facilities that house children that have disabilities because of the Sacred Gears they were born with. I know Dulio, who's one of the sub-leaders and the [Joker] of Heaven visits them frequently," I told her.

"Can I come?" both Lisa and Fusae asked at the same time. They then stopped to stare at each other.

"Ara? Why does Fusae-chan want to go?" asked Lisa.

"I'm interested in seeing the Sacred Gears that cause such disabilities. There are some that are born with it and are perfectly fine. However, cases like this also happen, so I want to see what kind of Sacred Gears cause these," she told her senior. But I noticed her glancing at me twice which made me curious.

[She's—]

'I know, I have my own suspicions, Ddraig.' I stopped him. I didn't want to hear it and the [Welsh Dragon] just chuckled at me.

"And how about you, Lisa-senpai?" Fusae asked while also looking suspiciously at her.

"Ara? I'm interested in Aaron romantically, so if I have time, I'd like to spend some time with him," she told her honestly. Fusae stared dumbfoundedly at her senior before she reluctantly nodded.

I had my suspicions, but I didn't think she'd outright admit them right now. I shook my head and grabbed Fusae's book before clicking my fingers and teleporting them back to their spots. We were going to do them manually, but since these two would be coming with me, I wanted them to be ready for what they were going to see.

I had my own suspicions about what it might look like. However, since I don't think Fusae has seen anything this extreme, or even Lisa, I wanted them to be mentally prepared.

"Just a heads-up, but what we may see could be—"

"We're well aware, cutie. I have seen my fair share of injustice and suffering in the world, and while Fusae-chan might not, she was still doing missions and assignments for the chairman, Mephisto Pheles, you know?" said Lisa.

Fusae nodded and added, "I am prepared for this, Ji—Aaron-san. So you don't need to be worried about me."

"…Alright, fair enough. We'll leave around twelve noon, so if you have anything you want to do before that time, then get it done," I told them and teleported away.

♦♦♦♦

I arrived in an alley somewhere in Kuoh and walked out of it. Taking a look around, I was near the shopping district. Grayfia did say she wanted to get some things here, so I might as well buy them since I'm here. However, the reason I was here was because going to the underground sections of Kuoh could be done in a number of ways.

One, using the method we used when we travelled to the Gremory train. However, those were few and far between here since they were made by the church in various ways over the years. Other passages were in various churches in Kuoh, including the one where Asia met up with Raynare.

And the other was directly teleporting to them. I could sense them so it was no problem. However, I wanted to check one of those passages here. I wanted to see if they had any sort of defensive mechanisms, or if anyone from anywhere could just waltz right in.

But first…I'll go buy some ingredients.

♦♦♦♦

Once I was done with my shopping which took an hour because I was stopped by many people I know since many of my friends and lovers frequent this place. I also bought other stuff, like snacks for Ophis.

After going to a different area with not many people around, I stored my plastic bags in my [Inventory] before I left to the secret passage way. I found a small alleyway and a door that was shrouded in powerful illusion magic, and beyond it, I felt some kind of security magic that would alert those in the facility.

Looking further into it, I saw that if we walked down the spiral staircase, it would take us around fifteen to twenty minutes to get down to the bottom, and I was interested in that, so…

"Hmm? Oh, Super-Leader-kun, I didn't expect to see you here," said a familiar voice. I turned to my side and saw…Dulio in the distance. He waved at me and I walked back to him.

"Dulio…these are one of the entrances to the church's underground facilities, right?" I asked him. He seemed a bit surprised and chuckled nervously.

"Yeah it is, there are…"

"Yeah, I know, that's why I wanted to go there, a small visit, you know? And if I can help them, then that's a plus. I'm taking Fusae and Lisa with me, actually," I interrupted him and told him of my intentions.

"…Hehe, if it's Leader-kun, then those children will surely be healed… I see, okay, please come by then. I'm going there myself soon. I'll let them know so you can use any of the entrances spread across Kuoh. I'll—we'll be waiting, Jin-kun," he told me before leaving.

Dulio seemed a bit relieved when I told him that. I don't know how long this little adventure we're going to have will take, but…I think it'll be worth it in the end. Since we'll get the okay from [Joker] himself, we won't need to worry about alerting them, so another headache was gone.

Though, once they saw me, they would (hopefully) know that it was…well, me—or the Oppai Dragon/Middleman. With those thoughts, I went back home.

♦♦♦♦

"Ready?" I asked. Both Fusae and Lisa were wearing their regular clothes, and so was I. We weren't marching to some kind of battle or anything and wearing anything but these would make us stand out.

"I am, cutie~"

"Yes."

So, I teleported us to that same alleyway and we walked towards the door. The illusion magic was there, but I also noticed the security magic was disabled, so I guess Dulio did tell them. Once we were inside and on the stairs I looked down and saw it was a long way down.

"We're not walking down this, that would take too long."

"What are we going to do then? Teleport down?" asked Lisa as she looked down along with Fusae.

"Well…we could, but where's the fun in that?" I said and grinned at them.

"Ara, ara, I don't like that look, Aaron-kun~" Lisa said as she put a hand on her cheek with a slight expression of worry.

I didn't say anything to her, and sneaked my harms around both their waist.

"Ara? Ara, ara~? Is Aaron-kun making a move on me~?!" Lisa asked while blushing. Fusae silently watched me, a small blush on her face too.

"We're jumping down," I stated and smiled.

"Eh?" said both of them at the same time. But before they could protest or say anything else, I jumped down and we plummeted to the bottom.

"My, I heard that would do this at times, but I didn't think it would happen to me…are you doing this to see my underwear?" Lisa asked calmly.

Fusae…exceeded my expectations. She calmly pulled out a book and began to read! Her dedication to reading was admiring at times, even now it made me shocked.

"No…also why would I want to do that? I've seen you naked a few times already—I know what's beneath," I replied as we fell.

"And you like what you saw?" she asked and poked my cheek.

"What kind of guy wouldn't like seeing a woman's naked body?" I asked.

But…this situation is so absurd. How long was this damn thing? Also, having such a casual conversation as we plummeted to the ground was also strange, and the fact that Fusae was just reading her book…well, I and everyone I know are mostly weirdos though so this shouldn't be too strange.

Eventually, I saw the ground and before we touched it, I stopped us from slamming into it and then let both of them down.

"Ah…we were just getting to the good part of the conversation," Lisa said disappointedly. Fusae closed her book and put it away once we arrived.

"Jeez, I expected you guys to walk down, not jump off. We have a few security cameras around that, you know? Everyone in this facility was shocked once they saw you just jump and then…had a casual conversation," said Dulio as he walked over to us.

"Yo!" he added and put his hand up. "Glad you guys could make it."

"Well, everyone around me is usually weird, Dulio. You're no exception," I said and he laughed.

"Haha, I guess everyone that's part of the supernatural is strange in their own way. Fusae-kun read a book as you guys plummeted after all," he said and looked at the magician who simply agreed with him. "Anyway, let's go, everyone's waiting—you got a lot of fans here too, Oppai Dragon-kun."

♦♦♦♦

We walked through the hallways…or could I even call this place that? It felt more like underground sewers, minus the sludge and other things that came from sewers. But it was clear that the funding for places like this wasn't top priority. Yes, there were lights and the like, but…they looked and felt cheap even from a distance.

"How much funding do these church facilities get?" I asked Dulio.

"…Next to none, the people who look after the children use their own money to fund them. It's inspiring to see so many caring individuals across the world doing this kind of thing though," replied Dulio.

I had my suspicions but I didn't think they would be true. I shook my head, held my hand up and made my own improvements and made the place a bit nicer. Dulio looked back and smiled.

"As expected of Leader-kun…thank you," he said and kept walking.

Lisa Minci's Soliloquy

♦♦♦♦

We finally arrived at a large room with various sections separated by long and wide white curtains. I believe I could see the outline of beds in each of them. In total, there were around twenty in this room alone.

Dulio Gesualdo, Heaven's [Joker] suddenly clapped his hands and shouted, "Okay everyone, I brought the guest I told you about earlier!"

Various older people that were affiliated with the church came out of those boxes off sections and then opened them revealing children, young in age and…had various defects from their Sacred Gears.

I could see a few that had disabilities relating to their legs, some with the arms, hands, wrists, or even their entire body—one child…had flames covering his body, and one of the church affiliates was constantly using water and ice magic to stop the flames.

Some of the children's Sacred Gears were also protruding out of them at various points. Some of them were bed bound, walked on crutches or were in a wheelchair. There were also some whose faces were covered in a lot of cloth, I would guess because it made them…self-conscious about their face's defects thanks to their Sacred Gear.

Everywhere I looked, it broke my heart. These poor children were still so young and were born into these situations that were out of their control. Even more of them came into the room. I don't know how many more rooms there were, nor children but…

"Tada! It's the famous…Oppai Dragon~! Jin-kun!" shouted Dulio and the children's eyes lit up.

When I looked at Aaron's face, he also felt the same as me—he did his best at not showing it, but his eyes didn't lie. His heart also broke for them, but he silently closed his eyes and nodded to himself.

Suddenly his body was clad in his red armor and shouted, "The Oppai Dragon is here!" and the children shouted in joy.

One of the staff here ran over to Dulio and told him that they were running a bit behind on lunch. Once Aaron heard it, he walked over to them and they had surprised faces, but all their heads nodded, agreeing on something.

He gestured for both Fusae and I to join him and said, "I'm sending an avatar over to help them cook. Can you guys help me entertain them children here? I also…plan on healing as many as I could, but…"

"But?" Dulio repeated.

"…I want to go back to Heaven and correct this. I made next to no changes to the Sacred Gear system, but this should have crossed my mind—I want to make this problem nonexistent," he told us. It was obvious, but we were all shocked.

The one that was the most shocked was Dulio, as he stared at Aaron with wide eyes and an unmoving open mouth.

Aaron sighed and added, "I'm an idiot for forgetting something like this… Anyway, Gabriel told me Michael was looking for me, so I'll do it tomorrow, but…I'll spend the rest of the day here and we'll go hit up other locations around Kuoh, or the world, if you don't mind, Dulio."

Dulio's mouth quivered, but he eventually nodded. "Heh, I see…of course, Jin-kun! We'll make their lives even better then!" Dulio then ran off to join the staff, and Aaron made an invisible avatar to join the staff.

"…I'm not adept at comforting someone. May I go join the kitchen staff?" asked Fusae. "I…I will try to learn more about it though…I'm sorry I can't help right now."

"…That's fine, you're still helping that way, Fusae," replied Aaron. Fusae nodded before running off to join them.

He finally stepped forward and put on a grand show for the kids. Each child he walked over to, he touched them and…got rid of the defect they had for their Sacred Gear. When this happened, everyone became silent.

"…The Oppai Dragon will also get rid of the disability of the Sacred Gear you were born with…how many of you want to go to Kuoh amusement park after being healed?!" he shouted happily.

All the children answered with tear-eyed 'Me!', the staff here also shed some tears. It felt like a huge burden was taken off their shoulders once they saw that.

When I first heard about Aaron—the Oppai Dragon, the Middleman, and this generation's Red Dragon Emperor, like everyone, I was skeptical. The fact that he announced that he did it for a harem already made it controversial, but…he kept his promise.

His harem grew, as did his exemplary deeds. The alliance was slowly formed and many more around the supernatural began to respect him and like him. The enthusiastic idiot who helped everyone around him, he extended that hand to anyone around him.

Even then…I was still a bit skeptical. My thoughts were 'Oh, he might be doing this to get famous', or 'He's definitely just doing this for the cameras and to make himself look good', but…that began to change as I finally met him and spoke to him.

And today, that sealed the deal. While he's still known by these children, there were no cameras, there were no higher-ups or executives to impress. There were just the staff here, [Joker], Fusae-chan, the children and me. What would he gain from helping these children who are in no way affiliated with him?

No one…but the children themselves. He certainly wasn't the type to show off to impress us, even after having so many women around him, he just acted like himself.

'—He's a bleeding heart, he'll help anyone he wants, that's who the Oppai Dragon is.'

Lavinia's and Rossweisse's words echo in my mind. I'm starting to believe those words more and more as each day passes, but today it definitely…

"Nee-chan?" a little girl pulled on my skirt. When I looked down at her, I saw that her left eye was covered in a bandage

"…Do you like flowers, little girl?" I asked and bent down. She nodded and I created a purple flower made out of lightning magic and solidified it, then I handed it to her. "Because they like you too."

She smiled brightly and took it from me. From the corner of my eyes, Aaron had gone around speaking with the staff, interacting with the children, and healing them. With each child he healed, they started to cry tears of relief. This may have been the happiest they had been since they were born with these defects.

"Oppai Dragon is also an Angel Dragon!" a little boy shouted.

"Angel Dragon!" the others said and joined in the chant.

Aaron removed his helmet and smiled at then did a strange pose which a few children copied. "That's right, the Angel Dragon is going around the world to help those in need! With your words of support and encouragement, I can become stronger!" he shouted and he released pure white feathered wings that were like the angels of Heaven.

I heard that he only sent his clones and avatars to play for the Oppai Dragon show, but also that the memories from those avatars and clones goes back to him. I wonder if the acting they did also translate over to him? He didn't look any bit embarrassed at all.

The children cheered and laughed and he continued his rounds. Finally, he arrived at the girl I spoke to. I had summoned a book and read it to her during that time. She was interested in it, and even said, 'I wanna be a witch like you!'. I didn't want to crush her dreams so I said she would become a fine witch in the future.

"Oh? A future magician and witch being taught by the legendary 'Purple Rose' of Grauzauberer? Fufu, you'll be one of the best in the future!" said Aaron as he summoned a crimson rose and handed it to the little girl before putting his hand on her head and healing her.

The bandage around her eyes fell off and the color of that eye was emerald, her other was brown. It seemed like she had a Sacred Gear that related to that eye. The little girl cried and hugged Aaron and he stroked her head.

It really looks like he would be a good father in the future with how he treats his fans, especially the children. From what I heard, he apparently had a not-so-happy life in his previous life, probably due to his father, mother, or even both. So it's a miracle that he can act like this towards children.

Aaron left us to go to the other rooms in the facility and help heal the other children too. Meanwhile, the children in this room were running around or doing things with their bodies that they never could. I heard the same shouts in the other rooms when he went to them.

Fusae Hirawa's Soliloquy

♦♦♦♦

"Wait you can do that with that?!" Dulio-san asked in shock. Everyone was looking at Ji—Aaron's avatar as he cooked several dishes in this church facility's kitchen.

"You only need to experiment with a few things, though only if you're confident in your own skills as a cook," replied Aaron-A (Avatar).

"A-ahahaha…I don't have that. I'm an amateur at best, and I only cook to recreate the dishes I ate when traveling, so the children in these facilities can taste them," replied Dulio-san.

"Practice makes perfect, Dulio. Whether that be training your abilities, studying or cooking. Do it enough times and you'll become proficient at it. Since you taught yourself, then you're already a competent cook," said Aaron-A.

"Then what about Hirawa-san?" he asked.

"Please call me Fusae. I…lived by myself, and I also cooked on occasion before I moved out, so I have years of practice already. However, I do agree with Aa—Jin. Just like with my magic, I became like this after a lot of practice, the same with my cooking," I replied then looked at Dulio's dish.

"Yours also looks very appetizing, Dulio-san. You definitely have the skills. Please trust your own skills more," I added.

"Jeez, being told this is making me self-conscious…then can you two taste this?" he asked and pointed to his own dish.

Aaron-A nodded before grabbing two forks. He took one and handed me another. We both took a small piece of the food that he made. We both chewed for a bit and swallowed.

"…It's good. Isn't this Segedin Goulash? A pork stew slowly simmered with sauerkraut. The dish is spiced with sweet ground paprika, caraway seeds and smoothed by adding sour cream at the end of cooking. The Segedin Goulash originated in Hungary, specifically from the city Szeged, called Segedín in the Czech language."

I along with everyone there stared at Aaron. I knew that he liked cooking, but I didn't think he'd just know that…I was proud of my own cooking skills and the food I made. I also occasionally helped with the cooking in his home, but…

"You certainly know your stuff, Jin-kun. Yeah, I visited the country twice because I liked the food that much. This along with others I learned to make, but…if it got your approval then it's worth something! …Out of curiosity, would you change anything?" Dulio-san asked.

"Well, it would depend on whom I'm serving it to, and when I have my restaurant, I plan on having variations, so…" Aaron-A went into detail on how he would modify and change the dish for each variation in detail.

"I feel like that would be way too complicated for me, but…this is fine for the children here, right?"

Aaron-A chuckled. "Of course, generally, for me anyway, as long as you make this dish with honest intentions and to the best of your abilities…then it will always taste good."

Even though he was an avatar, he knew how Aaron felt, though he is still the same person…I guess it made sense.

"Anyway, let's get the food done. The boss and the children are waiting," he added and we got back to it.

I also wanted to make good food for them. I'm not that good at expressing how I feel, so that's why I read books to understand it better. But being around Aaron and everyone else made it easier to express myself, and also socialize with people of my age.

I would usually be stuck in my room or home when I'm not out on an assignment or mission for the chairman. So I think me being contracted to Himejima Akeno-san was a good thing. Being around people I can call friends is a wonderful thing.

Jin Skyward's Soliloquy

♦♦♦♦

Once lunch had been served, I dismissed my avatar and thanked him for the work he had done earlier. The children here looked quite happy with what they ate, along with the staff. I didn't need to eat yet, so with some spare time, I went around fixing the place.

It was run down, the floor and ground weren't up to standard, so I fixed it and upgraded it for them. I'll probably do this for all the children in whatever church facility I visit in the future. I don't know Japan's adoption process. However, if they decide to stay here and leave when they were older, then I wanted to make it as comfortable for them as possible.

Though…

I glanced at Lisa. She had been helping feed the girl earlier and they were enjoying themselves. Fusae was the same, but she was a bit more awkward about it. However, she was slowly getting used to it as the children teased her a bit making her flustered.

"This place feels more like a five-star hotel now, Jin-kun," said Dulio beside me. I had already left my Balance Breaker state and was in my regular clothes again.

"For these kids, they deserve nothing less. I have unlimited cash, so I'll regularly donate a large sum to these places through you, Dulio. Please spend them on these kids," I told him. "If you give me your bank account information, I can wire you around 1 million euros, and if we convert that to Japanese yen, it'll be a lot."

"O-o-o-one million…?! I-i-isn't that a bit much…?!" Dulio stuttered out. When I looked at him, he looked at me like I was some kind of super villain.

He then took out his phone and did something with it. His eye further widened and he showed me it. Ah, he did a conversation. 1,000,000 euros was around 150,273,748 yen and I frowned.

"That's a bit too low, I'll increase it to 100,000,000 euros then. That will definitely suffice, right?" I asked Dulio whose jaw looked like it was about to hit the floor. If I did it right, then it's around 15,027,374,890 yen.

"That's ¥15,027,374,890, so it should be fine." I nodded my head. "I'll do that soon, so just give me your details, alright?"

Dulio agreed with me silently. I think I just broke him. That wasn't my intention though. He should hear the amount of money Grigori spends on research and the amount I give to them, then he'd probably have a heart attack.

Dulio finally got out of his stopper and said, "Ah, right…actually, Jin-kun, would you go with me to the Underworld? …I have a fan of sorts there."

This caught my interest, and I didn't know the timeline for it, so…that means that the child is still alive, right? So there's a chance I can save him…

"A fan, huh? So I'm guessing it's a devil? To have a devil as a fan, that certainly is something. Though you are the [Joker] of Heaven, and one of the strongest exorcists alive, it's not that strange," I said.

"Haha, yeah, even his father was quite shocked about it, so…?"

"Yeah sure I'll come," I replied. "When do you wanna go?"

"Let's go to two more facilities in Kuoh before we go to the Underworld. Thanks to the alliance even angels can go down there now," he told me.

"Alright, let's get to it. But let me get the other two first," I said and walked over to them. They were fine with it, but the children were a bit sad. "Don't worry, I'll come back in the future and I'll take you guys to the amusement park in Kuoh. How does that sound?"

They were a lot happier about that, and I made pink promises with them. Finally, we left for the other two facilities.

♦♦♦♦

"Where are we going next?" asked Fusae.

We had finished going to the two other underground facilities and we were about to go to the Underworld to meet up with someone. I also fixed those two places, the last one was probably the worst looking one we had visited today, and I planned on visiting the other places eventually while doing the same thing.

"The Underworld, Dulio wants me to meet someone over there," I replied.

"Underworld? Joker-san has connections down there, huh? I would have said it was strange, but since we have the alliance, it really isn't anymore. When did they get into contact with you, Joker-san?" Lisa asked.

"Not too long ago. Heaven, Grigori and the Satans collaborated on something, and Jin-kun was also there with his Ice Princess. Anyway, after that event, they contacted me saying their child was a big fan of mine after seeing it once. When I asked if I should bring the Oppai Dragon they said 'If you want to!'," explained Dulio.

"Well, not everyone has to like the Oppai Dragon. It's just a show after all. We also have other characters from it, and I expect you to join us in a future season, Dulio," I told him and grinned.

"Acting…I haven't done that before, but I'm willing to try!" he exclaimed enthusiastically. "Shall we then?" he asked and we agreed.

♦♦♦♦

We arrived at Lilith, the current capital of the Underworld. Once done there Dulio led us to a place where a person wanted to meet us. We arrived at what seemed to be a café, but it was mostly deserted, except for a few staff members and three people there.

"Rudiger-san!" Dulio shouted as we approached them. The man named Rudiger looked up and smiled. The other two also did the same thing. One was a young boy and the other was a woman around Rudiger's age.

Rudiger Rosenkreutz, the 7th ranked in the Rating Games of the Underworld, is also known as the [Upsetting Sorcerer]. He's a formidable opponent for anyone that faces him in those games. Unlike Roygun and Bedeze, he reached that ranking all on his own without the [King] piece.

He also founded the magician's association, Rosenkreuzer. It was as famous as the Grauzauberer that Lavinia, Lisa and Fusae belonged to.

Rudiger Rosenkreutz was a man that looked like he was in his twenties. He had silver hair paired with deep green eyes and wore his own unique magician's clothing.

The young boy also had silver hair with streaks of pink and blue eyes. That must be his son that was being killed by his own Sacred Gear that he was born with…and the lady must be his wife. She had long pink hair, small horns on the side of her head, blue eyes and she wore peasants clothing that looked like it came from the Victorian era.

"Dulio-san, you contacted me saying that you found someone who could cure my son of his illness…? I was quite surprised when you said so, but…" he stopped and looked at me. "I see…so the Oppai Dragon will be the one to cause that miracle, huh?" he muttered and looked at me.

"Hello, I'm—"

"You're Rudiger Rosenkreutz, 7th ranked in the Rating Games, the [Upsetting Sorcerer], and founder of Rosenkreuzer and also was one of the announcers for Sairaorg and my exhibition match, right?" I said to him. He seemed a bit surprised but laughed in the end.

"Hehe, that's right. I'm flattered that the Oppai Dragon and Middleman know of my existence," he said, but then he gained a serious look. "…Dulio-san said you could help my son?"

"I can. What's your son's name?" I asked.

He smiled and patted his son on the head. "His name is Vardan, Vardan Rosenkreutz. This is my wife, Lucasta Rosenkreutz."

"It's a pleasure to meet both of you," I said and crouched down. I looked at Rudiger and his son looked at him and Dulio. They both nodded and he came over to me. "You like Dulio, right?"

Vardan nodded. "He's cool! Even though I'm a devil, he was really cool when I saw him on that stage! Because we have an alliance, I'm allowed to do this right? Ah, I also like Oppai Dragon too!" he said excitedly.

"…I see, thank you for your support, Vardan-kun." I put my hand on his head and began to process. His wife looked a bit panicked, but Rudiger decided to put his faith in me and watched on while he held his wife.

His son's body glowed for a few seconds before it stopped. In just a few moments, his pale skin and face vanished and he looked like any healthy child. Vardan blinked a few times and started feeling his own body—then he summoned something on his right eye, something that looked like a monocle and also a necklace appeared around his neck.

"Mom, dad!" he turned around and shouted.

He then ran around energetically while his Sacred Gear started to glow brightly. I had no idea what it did, but from [Observe] it was called [Monocle's Tail End of Emerald Radiance]. It was a rare Sacred Gear, something close to Gasper's [Forbidden Balor View], but not as rare as it.

Both parents were stunned for a few seconds, before they rushed over to their son. He was a bit annoyed by it, but…he also hugged them back. They started asking him questions about his health and how he felt, but Vardan only answered with 'I'm fine! I feel so light! I can beat a god!' and lines like that.

"I've visited him a few times, he was bed bound in their home and they were thinking of bringing him to the Serafall Memorial Hospital to be looked after since he looked like he was getting worse by the way, but I didn't think they'd bring him out today…" said Dulio as he looked on at the family.

"Should I start calling you [Miracle Dragon] too?" Dulio asked and laughed.

I also chuckled at the absurd nickname before the family came back over to us, and then…both Rudiger and his wife Lucasta embraced me. I was taken aback by this, but I also hugged them a bit and patted their backs.

"Thank you. I supported your goals already, but this…this just made me a fan, Middl—no, Jin-sama!" Rudiger Rosenkreutz said and pulled away from me.

"Thank you, thank you for helping our child…" Lucasta muttered as she cried while also stroking her son's head.

"You don't need to call me Jin-sama, just 'Jin' is fine. Also, it's no problem, I wanted to help those with that kind of disability with their Sacred Gears…" I replied.

Rudiger smiled and nodded. "I reserved this café for the afternoon. Come, let us have a bit of a party, Vardan. We still need to check with the doctors at the hospital after this, but…for now you can order anything you want. The same goes for Jin-kun and his women," said Rudiger. "And of course, Dulio-san."

"Hehe, are you sure? Don't mind if I do then!" Dulio replied and ran in like a goofy kid into the café with Vardan while laughing.

I looked at my two companions and they didn't mind.

"I do need something sweet to wash down after having lunch earlier," said Lisa and Fusae agreed. So we stepped into the café that Rudiger had reserved for us.

♦♦♦♦

Two hours later, and with both Vardan and Dulio looking like they might puke out all the things they ate (mostly sweets and pastries), we were going to leave.

"I…shouldn't…have…eaten…so…much…ugh…" mumbled Dulio. I offered to make him feel better, but he said it was his proud 'food war scars' or something. I have no idea what he meant. I offered it to Vardan, but he said the same thing. However, one glare from his mother made him agree, so he just looked at Dulio sadly.

"We'll get going then. Thank you again, Jin-kun, Dulio-san," said Rudiger. "We'll go to the hospital to just double-check with everything."

"Yeah, good luck," I replied and we watched them leave. "Okay, it's our turn. Where do you want to be dropped off at, Dulio? If you come to our home, Griselda will be there to scold you."

His face paled and he shook his head, but that was a bit too much as he ran to a nearby trashcan and puked into it. Ah, so he was holding it in, huh? He wanted to look cool in front of Vardan. He eventually came back to us looking a bit better.

"It was worth it," he said and we just laughed at him. "J-just teleport me outside your home, Jin-kun. I can take it from there."

"Sure thing. Ah, I'll be going to Heaven tomorrow by the way," I told him. He nodded and we finally left.

After Dulio supposedly went back to Heaven, or wherever he escaped to, I, by myself travelled to the rest of the church facilities in Kuoh and did the same thing I did earlier on that day. I wanted to surprise him after all, and seeing the smiles and happiness of the children there was worth it.

♦♦♦♦

The next day arrived and I planned on heading to Heaven to meet with Michael and the rest of the Seraphs to reinforce Heaven, as well as fix that part of the Sacred Gear system. The ones traveling with me were Gabriel, Irina, Griselda and…Raynare.

Raynare herself was nervous about this. I mean, who knows how long since she was up there, right? She did say she fell and wasn't born in the human world, so it must be a bit jarring going back up there.

After confirming that everyone was ready, and looking at a slightly upset Penemue who couldn't come, we teleported to Heaven. Once we were there (First Heaven), we walked to a certain building. Michael had requested that we meet him here along with the others.

Once we arrived in that building while being greeted by many angels in First Heaven, there were a few others, including Layla and Altaria.

Dulio Gesualdo, Diethelm Waldseemüller, Nero Raimondi, Ryuu Heikan, Jessica Lagerkvist, Kiyotora Shinra and Mirana Shatarova. Those guys were various [Brave Saints] from various angels.

Diethelm Waldseemüller was Raphael's [Ace] and the [Queen] of the future [Team Trump Card of Heaven] for the Rating Game World Tournament. He wielded the Sacred Gear called [Holy Resuscitation]. Similar to the Sacred Gear [Twilight Healing], [Holy Resuscitation] has the ability to heal others, however, unlike the latter, it can only heal those related to Heaven and the Church.

Nero Raimondi was Uriel's [Ace] and [Rook] for Heaven's future team. He also wields a Sacred Gear called [Sturdy Saint].

[Sturdy Saint] was a Sacred Gear that strengthened its users' defenses the more they're attacked. The effects continue to increase as long as the user remains conscious. Despite being simple, it becomes more troublesome as long as the person isn't defeated, more so if their base physical abilities are above average or higher.

There were also the rest, including Kiyotora Shinra who was part of the Shinra Clan whose Metatron's [Jack] and he's also Tsubaki Shinra's uncle. Mirana Shatarova, Gabriel's [Ace], she's—

"Mirana~!" Gabriel shouted and flew over to her before embracing the woman. The rest of them turned to us and I put my hand up.

"Ah, Jin-kun, thank you for coming here," Michael said as the other Seraphs came over to us.

"It's been some time, Jin," said Uriel.

"Yes, I take it you're well?" added Raphael.

These two had become a lot friendlier with me after they came to terms with Gabriel and I's relationship. They finally accepted that we were serious about it and relaxed. So they started to relax more around me, on the rare occasions I dropped by here. Dulio also joined us, looking at lot better than he was after I dropped him off.

"No problem, Michael. I'm also doing well, thank you. So, do you want me to start here and make my way up?" I asked.

"Yes, that would be ideal. Altaria has already made the plans, so…" he looked at Altaria who handed me the plans and there were some areas that they wanted to be rebuilt entirely, as well as entire floors redone.

"…I can get it done today, so that's fine. I also have some…business in Seventh Heaven," I told him.

"May I ask why…?" Michael asked looking interested in this.

"Something went over my head the first time I came here, and I didn't fix a certain thing in the Sacred Gear system. Anyway, don't worry too much, it's a minor fix, it'll…favor the wielders more than anything," I answered him and he nodded.

"Very well, I will leave it up to you. If you require assistance, please don't hesitate to ask us," he said before he left with Uriel and Raphael. Altaria and Layla followed soon after speaking with me. We were left with everyone else here. Those three did look at Raynare who looked very uncomfortable.

Gabriel flew back over to me and hugged my arm. "This is…Jin! My lover, treat him nicely, okay~?" she said to the other [Brave Saints] and they smiled wryly at her.

"Jeez, why are you guys so tense all of a sudden? Griselda-nee and I, as well as Gabriel-sama already told you about him. You're acting like he'll bite you if you get too close," Dulio said before smacking one of them on the shoulder.

"W-well, it's not that we're intimidated, it's more like…we're not really sure in how to greet him?" said another member.

"R-right," another agreed.

"Hmm. Well, they'll help you if you need anything, Jin," said Gabriel.

"Yes, we're here to assist you in any way we can," added Griselda.

…It's not like I need any, but sure why not. "I see, well, I'll ask for any if I need it," I replied and we got to work.

♦♦♦♦

A few hours later we got First to Fifth Heaven done. If I was left to do it myself it would have taken even less time. However, since they're here, I didn't want to be an asshole and tell them no, so…I let them help.

"You know, you could always just tell them no," said Raynare. She had sat beside me and ate the food I prepared; it was a simple sandwich. She had also been quiet all day while observing everyone else.

"They looked eager to help, so I let them. Even if this did take longer than I planned. There are only two floors left, so it's fine. Anyway, how about you? You've been pretty quiet today, you know?" I looked at Raynare and she glanced at me before sighing.

"It's nothing. I just felt a bit nostalgic, that's all. It's been years since I've been here after all," said Raynare and looked back at the angels.

"Just go and talk to them, Raynare-chan~" said Gabriel as she hugged her from behind. Raynare became flustered and froze up. "Jeez, we've known each other for a long time now…! Do you hate me…?" she asked in a sad tone of voice.

"H-huh?! N-no! I don't hate you Gabriel-sama, it's just, I-I, w-well…I'll go talk to them…" she said and walked away. Gabriel looked at me and winked.

"…That's sinful you know?" I said and smirked.

She came over and hugged my arm and smiled. "But I'm in a sinful kind of love with you though~?"

"…When did my little angel become so cheeky?" I asked and she just giggled in response. We watched from a distance as Raynare spoke with Irina and Griselda before Irina grabbed her hand and led her towards the [Brave Saints].

Dulio and Griselda joined them and got her acquainted with the other [Brave Saints]. Raynare looked a bit panicky at the start, but eventually calmed down and started speaking to them rather casually.

"She got used to it quickly," I said.

"She was surrounded by supportive people after all," said Gabriel.

I stared at her for a few seconds before tilting her chin up and kissing her. Gabriel was surprised, but she closed her eyes and kissed me back. I stopped and she stared at me while blushing.

"W-what was that for…? N-not that I mind…" she said and hugged me again.

"Oh, I just felt like kissing you," I replied and looked back at everyone, but they were looking at us. Dulio silently laughed while the rest turned away flustered. Meanwhile, Raynare didn't seem impressed and Griselda was just smiling at us.

"Let's just continue our work then," I told her and we got back to work.

♦♦♦♦

"Phew, and that's that," I said as we finished all floors except Seventh Heaven. However, only Michael, the four other Seraphs (Layla, Uriel, Raphael, Gabriel) and Altaria are allowed up there. Well, me too, but I'm not here that often.

The other [Brave Saints] who were still with me, and that was everyone except Dulio who wandered off somewhere when we did Sixth Heaven, were on the ground tired. I went around giving them some snacks and also a slime pill (which they were thankful for).

"You guys can go off after you're done eating, and I can do Seventh Heaven myself. Thank you for your help," I told them. All of them pumped their fists tiredly before falling back on their backs.

However, two others approached me. It was Kiyotora Shinra and Mirana Shatarova.

"Jin-dono, may I have a word with you?" Kiyotora asked.

"M-me too, if you don't mind, Jin-sama…," said Mirana.

"Hmm? Oh sure, how can I help you?" I asked and looked at them. They looked at one another before Kiyotora started first.

"I'd like to thank you for what you did with the Five Principal Clans. That's been a point of contention for a long time now, with how they should deal with the youkais of Kyoto and other supernatural beings," he said and bowed his head. "You're also friends with Tsubaki, correct?"

"No problem, I wanted to help Tobio and Suzaku, and yes I'm friends with Tsubaki."

He smiled and suddenly pulled me into a hug. He started patting my back and whispered, "Take care of her."

"…I'll keep that in mind," replied.

"Umu! Umu! Good, good, then I will take my leave," he said and left.

"Um…" Mirana looked nervous and was already fidgeting before it was her turn. I think she expected mine and Kiyotora's interaction to last a bit longer so she could gather her courage up.

Before I could ask her what was wrong, Gabriel went over to her and they whispered to one another. Griselda came over and spoke to me.

"She's quite shy, Aaron. She is a sister from the Russian Orthodox church, and her family is quite poor…I heard that they're struggling even with her new job as an angel," Griselda explained and looked sadly at the woman.

Not much was known about her situation in the books, but…her family situation wasn't good, huh? In terms of money, I mean…I see, so she might be asking for that. Glancing at Griselda she smiled at me—so that's why she told me that.

"—I don't mind helping your family's situation," I suddenly said to her. She and Gabriel stopped to look at me. Mirana seemed more shocked than anything.

I walked closer to her and put my hand on her head making her freeze. It was out of instinct. Even though she looked a bit older than me, she reminded me of Asia and a few other girls, so I was compelled to do that.

"Helping your family is admirable. I can help them, so…" I glanced back at Griselda and then at Gabriel.

"Leave it to Jin, Mirana! We'll help with wiring your account," said Gabriel. Even though she had no idea on how to do that, it was still admirable, she was still her [King] after all.

She had fallen silent until she began to tremble and we noticed that she started to cry. It wasn't that big of a deal—is what I'd to say, but I think it would be insensitive right now. I have no idea how much her family struggled. Maybe they were on the verge of homelessness, or barely scraping by, but…

"We'll try to get that done soon so you can enjoy Halloween, if you celebrate that, and Christmas. I'm basically a mobile ATM," I told her and then was lightly smacked by Griselda on the head.

"People will get the wrong impression, Jin…" she said unamused by what I said.

"Well, I rarely boast about it, but I guess I'll do it this one time. Anyway, like we said, leave it to me."

"…Thank you, Jin-sama…"

"Just call me Jin," I told her. I turned around and looked around me again and then added, "Ah, will around 100,000,000 Euros do?" Then, I heard Mirana have a coughing fit behind me. Glancing back her eyes were as wide as saucers, and I laughed. "I plan on transferring the same amount to Dulio so he can spend it on the children in the church facilities…that's the next part of my plan, the reason for me going up to Seventh Heaven."

"Wait, you don't mean—" I stopped Griselda by putting a finger on her lips and winking.

"Yeah, I do. I also plan on doing something else. Anyway, let's end that there for now. I'll get going and do that, but if you want to come, feel free," I told them and went to inform Raynare and Irina who were conversing with one another and a very sleepy Jessica Lagerkvist.

♦♦♦♦

We arrived in Seventh Heaven, and we saw six people there already. Dulio, Michael, Uriel, Raphael, Layla and Altaria. They seemed to have been waiting for us (Griselda, Irina, Raynare, Mirana, a sleeping Jessica and me).

"Ah, Jin-kun, you took your time!" Dulio shouted and rushed over to us. "She's still asleep, huh?" he asked and laughed at Jessica Lagerkvist.

"Yeah, though we didn't want to leave her behind just sleeping, so we dragged her with us. Anyway, I'll be going towards the Sacred Gear system," I told him and looked to the right side.

"Roger!" he said and saluted me and we joined the other Seraphs and then walked into the room.

Mirana and Raynare were a bit nervous as it was their first time here as far as I could remember. Irina and Griselda were here too, I think, so while they weren't nervous per se, they still looked a bit uncomfortable. This was Big G's domain after all, and the two systems were also being safely looked after by Altaria and Layla who occasionally came here.

Once we arrived in the room, I went over to the Sacred Gear system and immediately looked into it. The others stayed behind me and let me do my thing, and since I was a lot more confident in my own powers, I didn't need help from Cúntóir right now with this.

After looking through it all a bit more carefully and meticulously than last time…

'I see…so that's how it is,' I thought.

[What? What is it, Partner?]

'It's incomplete. The God of the Bible didn't get to finish the system entirely. While Balance Breakers, the [Juggernaut Drive] and [Breakdown the Beast] were intended features…there were also other things that were bugs—especially the thing we did yesterday.'

{The disabilities that the children had?} asked Albion.

'Yeah, that. There are also some other things that look…weird, but…I need a bit more time with this. Big G really made this complicated and intricate. I wonder how far he wanted to take this?'

…Balance Breakers were an intended features—a feature for humans to have to be able to fight against the supernatural and defend themselves. I doubt he predicted or thought that humans would willingly have babies with the supernatural—hybrids were not in his plans.

Vali and Ingvild flashed in my mind. The White Dragon Emperor and the Blood of Lucifer, and Ingvild with her [Nereid Kyrie] and Leviathan's blood. Both of them had amazing potential even in the books, and now they both are even more powerful in this reality.

I tapped away at the Sacred Gear system looking through everything that Big G had planned for, and thankfully he left some notes in this and…

"Drawer in the bottom left near the swords and leg-like Sacred Gear. Open it and there's a note pad. Can someone bring it to me?" I suddenly asked. I could tell they were surprised, but I heard feet shuffling a few seconds later and Michael was beside me with it. "Thank you."

Looking at the note…yeah, it had even more notes on this. Fuck me dude, what was he planning to do with this? Go to war or something? If I ever bring him back, I'm going to interrogate him about it.

For the next hour I sat there, coding, decoding, removing bugs, fixing things, and polishing other aspects that I thought were…well, stupid. One thing I added to the Sacred Gear system was that…even common Sacred Gears had a chance to potentially evolve into 'Longinus-type' Sacred Gears.

Just like what I did with Kanami's [Flame Shake] to [Ashen Burst]. Of course, this would be entirely up to the wielder. Can they bring that common Sacred Gear from the usual type to something unique to them? If so, and once they die, it will remain like that.

Meaning, rare, super rare and even unique type Sacred Gears may increase in the future. Perhaps even more Longinus-type Sacred Gears will even pop up in the future? That thought…made me rather excited. I wonder what the hell this thing will make?

Especially Rudiger's son's Sacred Gear, [Monocle's Tail End of Emerald Radiance]. If he's trained by his dad, and then Dulio…or even in Grigori, he'll be a force in the future, that's for sure.

After a few more minutes of polishing everything…and for now…I liked the state of it. Everything seemed to be fine now. No one will have disabilities related to Sacred Gears after this, and while I didn't change the chance or frequency of humans attaining it, I did make it so that most of their Sacred Gears wouldn't kill them when they activated it—purposefully or unintentionally.

[Would you like to make these changes permanent?]

[Yes/No]

I pressed [Yes] and the Sacred Gear system glowed brightly for a few seconds, and the entire space trembled and rumbled. Thankfully everyone stayed calm, and after another few seconds…it was over.

"…And we're done." I then told them about the few changes I made, the ones that were relevant. I made more but they weren't that important to tell them, or at least I wanted them to be surprises.

"One final thing…" I said to them and raised my hand up.

I was hesitant in doing this from the moment I started to change my reasons for traveling this world—it was previously just wanting a harem, and while I still want that…I had another goal, and this was part one of it.

Black and silver auras erupted from my body and consumed the whole world. Even if those does cause a mass-panic…it should be fine, for what it will do in the next few minutes will be more than enough compensation for the normal humans in the world.

After I was sure that it was done, I stopped my aura from spreading any more and sighed. "And I'm done." I looked back at everyone and they stared at me in a bit dumbfounded.

"W-what did you do?" Uriel asked.

"…I created a miracle, to the humans, the God of the Bible did it, but…that's fine. Just watch the human's news for the next couple of hours to a day, and everything should clear up. Anyway, I'll go home now…" I said and stretched my body.

"A job well done," I added while walking past them. Raynare, who was still dumbfounded by it, chased after me and they watched us go.

Third Person Point of View

♦♦♦♦

"Miracle? What did he mean by that?" Raphael asked, still confused by Aaron's statement.

"W-whaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!" Irina screamed, surprising them all. When they looked at her, she had her smartphone out and her hand was shaking.

"Angel Irina, what happened?" Michael asked with concern.

"H-h-h-he…! Jin-senpai…he…!!" she couldn't get the words out, so she showed them her phone—a live broadcast.

The human broadcast simply said, several new types of cures were found for various diseases all across the world! Scientists also managed created other cures for various illnesses for many diseases, viruses, and the like.

Once they saw that, they were even more dumbstruck by the situation, but—

"The Miracle Dragon was born," said Dulio. "Even though I joked about it yesterday…he actually did something like that." Dulio started to laugh and shook his head. Everyone else was too stunned by this to properly react.

"If you're wondering if I'm the Big Guy's reincarnation, then no, I'm not," said Michael. Everyone there stared at him, and it finally hit Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael.

"…Those were Jin's words from when he first spoke to us, was it not?" asked Uriel.

Michael nodded. "Yes…he truly isn't, and this may be controversial, but he's truly following many things that father said he would do. Even if he didn't like the devils, the Dragon God, or even some of the Fallen Angels, Jin-kun just now…"

"Don't say it. Jin wouldn't like it if you compared him to father," said Raphael. "They're different, they did things for different reasons. Even if humans would like to think of as father as the kind of God that was benevolent, the truth is…he wasn't, just like many other gods."

What Raphael said would have made him fall in the past. However, since Aaron had changed the system back during his summer break, he and many angels here could utter such things now. He felt uncomfortable saying it, but…it was the truth.

Gods in this world were no different from humans—hell, some would say they were more petty, cold, cruel, and selfish than humans. Because they had the power to do as they please, and change many things because they had that power.

"…Even if you say the truth, brother, we can't deny that Jin-kun caused a world-wide miracle. We can't keep this a secret from the other gods, factions and mythologies," said Michael.

"Then why don't we just spread it ourselves?" asked Dulio. Everyone there looked at him in surprise. "The rise of the Miracle Dragon—the Dual Dragon Emperor who caused a world-wide miracle."

"I think it would be favorable on our part, Michael-sama," said Griselda. She agreed with the [Joker] of Heaven.

"I also agree with that opinion. If you agree, then I will start right away, Michael," said Altaria.

Michael looked at Uriel and Raphael who let out sighs but also agreed.

"It's inevitable. As they said, we cannot keep it a secret if all of humanity starts reporting about this," said Raphael.

"It isn't the first outrageous thing he's done in the supernatural world. Why not?" added Uriel.

Both Seraphs had just gotten used to the atrocious things Aaron would casually do. However, they hadn't expected him to do this kind of thing, so it came as a surprise even for them.

"Very well, let's start," said Michael.

Raynare's Soliloquy

♦♦♦♦

I don't get it; I don't get this guy. The things he does, the things he says…they just don't make sense. One second, he says he won't, or another time he has a different opinion, the next he changes his mind.

We just left the Sacred Gear system's room in Seventh Heaven and he teleported us back to First Heaven and now he's getting some food. Who…who the hell does this? Didn't he just perform a world-wide life-changing miracle for the humans?!

He came back over and handed me my drink and some kind of food. It resembled a hot dog, but felt very…er, angelic? Even though I had things I wanted to say to him, I accepted the food he gave me.

We walked over to a free bench, sat down and ate in silence for around a minute. After that minute of silence, I finally asked, "Why?"

"Why what?" he asked back and looked at me.

"Why did you do that?" I asked again. "Why did you do that miracle? Why did you help the humans?"

Aaron kept looking at me for a few seconds before he looked away, closed his eyes and took another bite from his food. He must be thinking about it, so I waited for him to answer while also continuing to eat.

"…For the Sacred Gear system, I did it because I saw the suffering young children had to suffer because the old man didn't finish the Sacred Gear system. I doubt he wanted to let something like that happen, so I fixed it while also changing the code and polishing up certain things. You'll see it happening in the next few months."

"…And when I did that, a thought occurred to me. 'Isn't it the same for normal human children? With cancer, and all types of other diseases? Some are even born at birth with it, given then zero chance at life.' Those were my thoughts on the matter, so…I gave them a fighting chance at life, by letting humans attain those cures," he told me.

I was honestly shocked. Because of what he saw yesterday he decided to do that? Most people would probably feel bad, yes. Most won't have the means to do anything though—at most, and from what I saw, some humans do fundraisers to get enough funds to help develop a cure, right?

He didn't tell us any specifics in what he did, but from what I saw and could tell, it probably gave every human the 'correct' path to find the cure, and that's why there were so many breakthroughs in such a short amount of time.

I pulled out my smartphone from my ring and checked social media—and the believers of god, the ones who followed the church praised his almighty power, and benevolence for giving them the correct answers in their time of need.

Some were skeptical, the atheists who didn't believe. However, after around fifteen interviews with people all around the world who had nothing to do with each other they began to shut up. Their answers were more or less the same.

'A vision came to me.'

'Some words and ideas came to me.'

'I had a dream.'

All of it came down to one figure in those visions, dreams, voice—to the voice, it sounded otherworldly, authoritative yet kind, and to the visions and dreams—a silver haired man bathed in silver light showed them various things for their research.

Thus, many comments and topics were started on the internet, like 'The second coming of the Lord is upon us!', and things like that.

"…Are you sure you're not him?" I asked and put my phone away. Aaron just laughed at me and shook his head.

"No. Even if we didn't meet, I'm 99% sure we're very different," he answered like that.

Not too long after that, the rest of our group joined us and we left for home. Even after we got home, Aaron was pestered by everyone about it. However, he just gave us his usual smile and said it wasn't a big deal and got on with it.

Most would brag about this you know? Sometimes it annoys me on how humble he is at times.

But according to Irina, the angels helped spread the word, to the humans—the ones affiliated with the church, which spread to the fallen angels, angels then eventually gods and then the world.

Thus, the [Miracle Dragon] was born. Aaron didn't care much for the title though, and I doubt he knew about it since he was mostly preoccupied.
