A volume outside the main story that tells Laila's past.[1]
At the beginning of the Dark Ages, where magic was still unknown, the people of a city lived together with each other. Although there were many good people, there were also bad people. Many crimes took place on the street, people stole wallets, others trafficked people of their own race as slaves and the worst that could happen was the assault of innocent women.
Inside that city there was a very small family, a father and a mother lived together with their little daughter.
Mother - Laila! Come have dinner!
Laila - I'm coming mom!
Laila, a small 7-year-old child, lived with her parents. She was a happy, innocent child.
Father - Hey Laila dad will have to go out at night sleep well ok?
Laila - Ok dad!
And there her father left home and Laila was left alone with her mother.
Half an hour later...
Laila - Mom can we go out together at night to see the stars?
Mother - Are you crazy Laila, can't you see what time it is?
Laila - Please mom just today.
Laila said pouting.
Mother - Hmmmm ok let's go my love but just this once ok?
Laila - YAYYYYYYYY THANK U MOM!!!!!!!!!!!!
Laila was screaming with joy. To her, her mother was an angel and she loved her with all her heart. At least that's what she thought until what happened. Laila and her mother were walking around town. Laila ended up catching her father cheating on her mother with another woman. She was very sad, angry, anxious because she knew her father would never come back. Because of that, while the years went by without his father, her mother went crazy. Laila walked through the city streets alone, watching the rot that people passed on to each other. With all this, Laila became cruel to the people around her, she created a tremendous hatred for the world and wanted to end it so that she could rebuild it and govern it by herself.
One day Laila came home and found her mother sitting in the dining room chair crying and complaining about her life. After so much complaining, Laila heard what she never expected to hear from her dear mother.
Mother - Laila, is that you?
Laila - Yes mom I just got home.
Mother - How boring, why do you exist? Actually because I gave birth to you if my husband never comes back?!
Laila - HUH!
Laila was shocked by what her mother said, and to stop her suffering she decided to take the kitchen knife and coldly cut off her mother's head
Mother - GET OUT! DON'T COME CLOSE TO ME MONSTE...
Laila was bathed in blood and her world turned upside down. After that, Laila left home at night and started killing people to get money on the black market by selling organs. She became an assassin for hire and turned out to be the most feared of them all. After so many murders in that city, the name Nightmare came up.
