"Eren, are you sure about this?" Mikasa questioned him, and Eren was starting to get a little irritated with her. Eren understood Mikasa's reasoning behind her question, but he was steadfast in his decision.

"Yes. I am sure, Mikasa." Eren spoke to her in an unfriendly manner while the carriage navigated the cobbled street.

Mikasa looked down, realizing that she was questioning his decision too much; this was probably the tenth time she had asked him since they entered the carriage.

While Levi beside her reamined silent, not saying much, he looked out of the window, looking at the tree passing by. Very far into the distance, he could see the Titan Prison, where they were still keeping the remaining Pure Titans. The King and his council were still unsure whether keeping them like that was a better choice than freeing them. No one knew for sure.

Levi looked back at the King; sometimes he still found it a little strange that Eren was king. When he looked into his eyes, he often saw glimpses of the younger Eren on him, but they were rare. Now he could see someone else, someone who took his job much more seriously, so as his former captain, Levi felt it was his duty to give him a few words of advice before they arrived at the place.

"Your Grace." Levi called him, and Eren turned to face him. "From my experience, you should let them talk more. After what they went through, your words are not going to help them much." Levi gave him advice, and he could tell that Eren was listening to him.

"You have experience with this Captain Levi?"

"I do. I lost count of how many times I had to give back the uniform to the parents. Say the same things over and over: 'Your son died bravely.' 'Your daughter was a good solider of humanity.' But my words did little to ease their and mine's pain." Levi's words trailed off as he looked away, a look of sadness in his eyes, before turning back to Eren. "Be prepared for insults, begging, blaming you, and possibly attacking you." Levi concluded, his voice returning to a tone devoid of emotion, despite the subject matter he was discussing.

"I understand." Eren said curtly as the carriage stopped before the prison's courtyard. The driver jumped from his seat and quickly walked back to the door. With a twist of the handle, the door opened, and Eren walked down the small stairs of the carriage. Ten soldiers stood before him, all saluting him. Eren recognized three of them from the last Yeagerists gathering: Jaton, Okando, and Martha. He remembered Floch reassuring him that the three were loyal to him and his cause.

' 'You've done well, Floch. I want your next recruitment to be in the other three outer cities of Wall Maria. Quinta District, Aki District, and Nohopu District. After Wall Maria was secured, we made contact with them, and there were people who were still alive, even after six years since the fall of Wall Maria. I want you to recruit in all three of them, and I want you to make contact with a former soldier; she is qualified.'

'Who?'

'Rosalie Dumarque.''

Levi and Mikasa followed Eren through the front door. The three of them remained silent as they walked through the corridor until they reached the main hall.

Once the door opened, a woman with glasses almost ran towards him before stopping two feet away from him, clearing her throat, and looking a little embarrassed. She wore a pair of glasses and was as tall as Mikasa, with a clipboard across her chest. "Thank you; I heard you were coming here, and I thought I could help you with this."

"Who are you?"

"Oh, my name is Jenika Braun. Your grace. I'm a therapist from Wall Sina. Queen Historia hired me a week ago to talk with the Marley soldiers, hoping to help them." Jenika responded with a friendly smile. She had long blonde hair that reached her hips, along with a heart-shaped face.

Jenika is a mature woman with a slender yet well-toned, curvy figure and a tall height. She has fair skin and sharp, dark eyes. Above her left breast is a tattoo.

Jenika wore a long white-collared, button-up blouse that revealed her cleavage, form-fitting gray pants that reached her ankles, and open-toed sandals adorned with the letters "W.C."

"Did you find out anything?" Eren asked as he walked past her. Jenika quickly followed him behind, flipping through her clipboard's pages.

"I'm afraid I couldn't help much, your grace." They are not willing to talk with me. I told them that I only wanted to help them. I tried to talk with...the three girls, but they weren't in the talking mood. It's like talking with a brick wall." Jenika said, sounding a little annoyed as they took a turn to the right. The doors across the walls led to specific prison cells, with two guards in each one.

"Did you manage to talk with any of them?" Eren asked with a commanding voice.

"Yes." Jenika quickly replied, her smile returning as she flipped through the pages before finding the right one. "His name was Gerhard, and out of all of them, he was the only one willing to talk with me. All the others told me to burn myself and other pleasing things." Jenika spoke in a lighthearted tone, attempting to make a joke, but quickly realized it was futile as no one was smiling.

"What did this Gerhard say?"

"Not much, your grace. I would tell you more, but I'm their therapist, so I cannot tell you. I want to maintain my confidentiality. All of them are my clients, regardless of whether they are in a conversational mood or not." Jenika said, looking a little apologetic but still determined.

Levi narrowed his gaze, but Eren could respect that. "Then no one here can force you to break your confidentiality with your clients. Historia hired you for a reason. I want you to keep doing what you are doing." Eren said before resuming his walk.

He soon entered a fairly large square room through another opened door. All the captured soldiers were placed inside, all forming six rows, with seven soldiers in each row; their hands were all handcuffed, as were their ankles.

"Who are you?"

"What do you want from us?"

"Did you gather us here to beat us up?"

"Will you kill us all?"

Eren ignored them, focusing his gaze on their eyes. At each one of them. He could see the anger and hatred in them all, but there were many that appeared more desperate than angry. Eren stood before all of them and cleared his throat.

"My name is Eren Yeager. I'm the King of the Eldians inside the walls." Eren's revelation immediately sparked murmurs among the captured soldiers; two of them attempted to lunge at Eren, but every soldier in the room aimed their gun at them.

"You Bastard."

"He's here to eat us."

"He is the Devil of Paradis."

"PLease Don't kill me."

"What were you thinking, Baggard? Are you trying to get us all killed?"

"ENOUGH."

The sudden silence of all the Marley soldiers caught Eren, Levi, and Mikasa off guard. They watched as one of them walked past the soldiers, then revealed himself as he walked in front of them; despite being a prisoner, he held his head high and had good posture.

"You are?"

"My name is Gerhard Ehrand, your grace. I am the captain of the ship T-301 that sailed to Paradis on January 23, and the captain, or should I say, former captain of Pieck Finger's Panzer Unit." The man introduced himself and seemingly tried to move his hand upward, but the chains were preventing him from doing so. "I would have saluted to you, your grace, but I believe soldiers are not meant to salute when they are in chains."

"I'm afraid I can't remove your chains, captain of the ship." Eren answered curtly, and Gerhard stopped moving his hand.

"Then, what brought you here? If you came all the way from Wall Sina, then I think you wanted to tell us something yourself." Gerhard inquired, sounding slightly intrigued.

Gerhard has shoulder-length gray hair and wears a black hat along with a brown leather jacket and trousers, a tattered mantle, and a scarf.

"Two weeks ago, three of your soldiers, Camila, Sara, and Gabriella, were attacked by four of our soldiers, and the next day you were beaten up by the guards when you started a riot." Eren initiated the conversation, and the mention of the three female soldiers immediately alarmed the Marley soldiers.

"Do not touch them, you devil."

"I will not let you anywhere near them."

"ENOUGH." Gerhard shouted again, and the soldiers fell silent. He quickly looked back at Eren. "Go On."

"I wanted to inform you all personally that what happened will never be repeated; you are all prisoners here, but you are all still human. I wanted to inform you that the four soldiers that attacked the girls have been executed by my own hands, and the Warden who allowed this to happen is in prison for his next thirty-five years." Eren informed the soldiers, and he heard a round of gasps among the Marley soldiers; all seemed shocked, except for Gerhard, whose face remained almost emotionless.

"You-You are lying. Why would you do that? He must-" "He is not lying, Carlos." Gerhard cut him off before his statment could be supported by anyone else.

"In case you morons didn't notice, the King himself is here. Do you really think he would have come here just to waste his time by lying to us?" To this, the others had no response.

Gerhard turned to face Eren, showing the smallest hint of gratitude. "We appreciate what you did for the girls—your grace. Perhaps...not all of you are devils." Gerhard smiled slightly before returning to his position in the line of soldiers.

Soon they were all led back to their cells, and Eren prepared himself to leave the room, but as the soldiers walked away, forming a long line, Gerhard approached him with guns aimed at him.

"Your grace, may I ask why you did the deed yourself?" Gerhard asked with a hushed tone, looking right at Eren's green eyes.

Eren felt his strange silver eyes looking back at him. "I am the King; it's only right I do the deed myself."

A smile grew on Gerhard's face. "You've captured all of our ships. On the ship A-231. In my office, there's a drawer with a fake bottom." That's all he said before walking away with the others, the chains clattering as he walked away.

"I will have someone check to see what's there." Levi told him, and Eren wondered what was in that drawer.

.

.

"We made sure to put them in separate cells, but they woke up screaming every night. They cried, and we didn't know what to do. So we allowed them to sleep in this room together. They are still having nightmares. But is not as often as before." The captain of the guards said before opening the door for him.

Eren entered the room, which was a large oval room with four sets of barred windows that let in plenty of sunlight. The three girls were seated in their respective seats when he walked in. The moment they caught sight of him, they flinched as if struck, and they gathered together in one place, looking at him warily.

"Who are you?" The venom in her voice, the woman used her body as a shield, with the two others hiding behind her.

Eren did not answer right away; instead, he looked into one of them that was hiding; she looked like Mikasa, almost like a sister, and her eyes. Eren had seen those eyes before. Mikasa had them when he saved her from the kidnappers, before she awakened her Ackerman powers. The eyes of someone who had lost everything and was scared out of their minds.

"I'm not here to hurt you. I just wanted to tell you something." Eren explained who he was, as well as what happened to the soldiers who attacked them that night.

The three of them visibly relaxed after hearing that, but the one in front still glared at him.

"You really think this makes things right?" The one in the front asked, snearing at him. "Just because you killed those pigs, you think you did something. You only did it to maintain a positive public image. Just like them, you are a devil. You are no different." She spoke the words with venom, but Eren did not react.

"You can call me whatever you want, Sara Sand. I just wanted to tell you that nothing like that will ever happen." Eren apologized before turning around and preparing to leave the room. He didn't want to be here anymore. He knew they were still his enemies; they had come here to fight them. They are my enemies, Eren told himself, but he had never wanted something like this to happen. They were prisoners, but still humans, and he had failed to do his job as King.

"Your grace..." He almost didn't hear her, but the room was quiet—too quiet—and he heard her echo. He slowly turned around to see the girl, who looked like Mikasa.

"Did you call me?"

"M-My name is G-Gabriella, your grace." The frightened girl walked past Sara, who didn't appear happy that she was talking with him. "My little brother, his-his name is Daniel. He is alone. I need to return to him." She begged with tears running down her face as she slowly approached him like a wounded animal, but Eren simply stared at her, not saying a word.

She let out a sob, tears flowing down her face like rain. "Please, your grace. I won't tell anyone anything. Just let me return to my brother. He's only ten. He needs me." Her voice quivered as she sobbed, almost bowing to him. "Pleaseee."

.

"Eren, how are you feeling?" Historia's smoothing voice reached his ears as he laid on bed with her, his arms around her, keeping her close. He wanted to feel her warmth and love for him. He didn't answer right away; he wasn't sure himself. His throat felt dry, and he started at the ceiling. His voice eventually broke the silence.

"I'm not sure." Eren replied blankly as he stared at the ceiling. "I want to do what is best for everyone on this island." He said it quietly, still staring at the ceiling. "But...she—she begged me to let her go. She dropped to her knees and began talking about her little brother. I had to look her in the eye and tell her, "No." Eren spoke with difficulty, his tone bordering on disgust. "She reminded me of Mikasa when I saved her. A girl scared and alone. I..." His words trailed off as his fingers dragged across the bed's mattress.

"You had no choice, Eren. She's still an enemy soldier. If you release her, then what about the others? What will happen when the commanders find out that you freed an enemy of Paradis? She could have revealed, " "I KNOW THAT!!" Eren shouted much louder than he had intended as he turned his head to face her. Historia flinched, and Eren's eyes widened, realizing his mistake.

"I'm sorry, Historia. I didn't mean to-" "It's okay, Eren." Historia silenced him by placing a finger on his lips. Her eyes were filled with love as she leaned closer, moved her finger away, and kissed his lips.

"My sister once told me the story of a little girl, and then she asked me what kind of Queen I would want to be." She paused, releasing a bitter laugh. "I told her that I would become a just Queen, a Queen that is good for everyone." She swallowed thickly as she looked into Eren's eyes. "But she told me the real world is not a fairy tale, and it is not an 'Everyone lived happily ever after.' This world is harsh; it will tear us apart. She told me, 'You are a sweet little girl.' 'The real world will tear you into thousands of sweet little pieces,' she said. " Historia felt her eyes burn with unshed tears. "This world wants to consume us. Everyone who lives on this island is doomed. We should make sure that never happens. No matter what. If we fail, all the deaths, all the victories we had. All the love we have. It will amount to nothing. A King and Queen who are willing to make the harshest decisions. That's what this place needs. I believe you are that King, Eren." Historia spoke before bringing his face close to hers, and their lips met.

Armin: One Week Later

"Armin, bring me the pin." Hange ordered as she used...what was it called...the flaming torch, or whatever it was called, she cared not as she used it on their first creation.

"Hange, I don't think this is a good idea; you shouldn't be standing so close and using flames near powder. Let me do this." Armin told her, sounding worried as he grabbed a box full of grenade pins for her from a table nearby before bringing it to her table.

Hange stopped using the flaming torch and pulled up the thick glasses that covered most of her upper face. Based on what they had read, it seems the little sparks that burst out every time this tool was used, they would need to hide their faces since the sparks could burn the skin and even blind someone.

"No need, Armin. You have been working on this nonstop for a whole week now. Let me do it." Hange said dismissively as she grabbed a pin from the box. Armin scowled slightly, feeling unprepared for the reminder.

A whole month had passed since his talk with Annie, and Armin wasn't sure yet how long he could keep this up. Even Mina had noticed that something was wrong with him; every time he went home, she would almost interrogate him about it, asking why he was suddenly spending so many hours on the job and why he was refusing to spend time with Eren and Mikasa.

'Armin. Tomorrow is a free day for Eren, so I was wondering if you wanted to come with us. We all will gather. It will be an opportunity to relax a little. Eren will be happy to have you there.'

Mikasa had told him three days ago, but Armin had refused; the last thing he needed was to have...

He escaped his thoughts when he heard a 'Tick Tick' sound. His eyes darted towards the grenade prototype, widening as he noticed the metallic surface had taken on a hint of yellow near the powder storage. Without thinking, Armin threw himself, getting right in between Hange and the grenade.

BOOM!!

Armin screamed in pain; his ears boomed with noise as his body was thrown in the air before slamming against something hard and then falling on the floor.

Armin clenched his teeth tightly, closing his ears as much as he could. Instead of ears, he felt two stumps with his palms, tasted blood in his mouth, opened his eyes, and saw nothing but steam around him. Beyond the steam, he could see Hange; she opened her mouth, but he couldn't hear anything.

armin

Armin

ArmiN

"ARMIN."

He flinched as if he had been struck, then suddenly heard again. He could feel his own ears under his palms. He looked back at Hange and realized she wasn't the only one in the room; there was Moblit and a few others that were helping them with creating the new weapons based on what they had gotten from the Marley ships.

"What?" Armin finally asked with a groan, his ears still ringing with noise, and they all quickly helped him to his feet. He looked back where the explosion happened and was a little confused.

"Where's the chair?" Armin wondered out loud when he heard Hange make a sound. He turned to look at her, and she merely pointed at his stomach. He looked down and saw a piece of wood sticking out of his stomach.

Huh? Armin thought as his fingers curled around the piece of wood; he yelped in pain as he pulled it out, with a trail of blood following it behind, but at least it was over as he threw it away.

"Armin. Thank you for saving me, and I'm really sorry for this." Hange apologized sincerely, but Armin merely sighed, trying to ignore the pain; thankfully, the healing process was fast enough and he would soon feel no pain.

He wanted to say, "Better me than you," but he held his tongue for now, fearing she might mistake him.

"I'm fine. I have my Titan, so I cannot die so easily." Armin said dismissively before turning to face Moblit and the three other engineers who were helping them create the new weapons.

"Let's get back to work. It was just a minor incident," Armin said, and they all nodded, knowing that those weapons were needed. They needed to know how to make more of them and not just rely on the weapons they had stolen.

Two Days Later

"This is so frustrating. Why is it not working?!" Hange shouted with a huff as she emerged from the hiding places they had set up around the factory whenever they needed to test something. They had pulled out the pin, and Hange had thrown the grenade in hopes of it exploding, but after waiting for five whole minutes, they knew it had failed.

"Hange, I don't think it's that bad. We are nearly there, and Mister Uhr has already made more advances on the first semi-automatic pistol we created." Moblit spoke in an upbeat tone, attempting to lighten the mood, but Hange seemed unsatisfied; instead, she stomped on the ground, closing her hands in frustration as she gazed at the grenade on the ground.

"Hange, are you alright?" Moblit approached her with concern and placed his hand on her shoulder.

"No. I'm not fine. We need to get better at this; we need to get stronger. The clock is ticking, and we are running out of time every day. No. I'm not alright." She spoke in a harsher tone than she had intended, let out a tired sigh, and then turned to face Moblit.

"I'm sorry. I think I'm just tired." Hange spoke over the sound of approaching footsteps, and the three of them turned to see Mister Ovier walking up to them. His face was black from working all day, with bits of white from his actual face.

"Mister Ovier?"

"It's done. We did it. Come With Us." The man almost shouted out of excitement, his eyes sparing with pride, before turning on his heels and running up to the second building.

Armin, Hange, and Moblit shared a look before running after him. He walked into a garage, and as they ran after him. Armin noticed a gun on a table containing magazines that they had manufactured using Titan Hardening; the pistol, its components, and even the bullet itself were all made from Titan Hardening. The Paradis Island didn't have a lot of anything except Titan Hardening and Ice Burst, so they made sure to use them as much as possible, since one of them could be created for free with the many titans they had at this point.

"Mister Uhr." Hange called him, and the man smiled brightly. For a moment, he seemed like a little boy who just got his favorite holiday toy.

"Take a look at this beauty, Miss Hange." With a raspy voice, Uhr handed the new gun to Hange, who quickly examined it from every angle. When she pointed the gun at her own eye, Uhr quickly yanked it from her hands.

"A gun is always loaded and ready to fire, Miss Hange; that is the most important lesson in gun control. This one is not, but please don't try to aim at yourself again." Hange laughed in amusement, but she still nodded in understanding as Uhr showed the inner parts before sliding the first magazine with bullets and aiming it at the target on the wall, which was a sheet of Titan Hardening.

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

Armin's ears ringed like bells as Uhr ran out of bullets, the smoke still coming out from the barrel, but that mattered little. They had created a semi-automatic gun!

"HOORAY!!" Hange was the first to celebrate before grabbing Mister Uhr by the waist and spinning him around and around, which wasn't good for an old man.

"Hange, stop!" Moblit quickly told her as she put him back down on the ground, still laughing, while Mister Uhr looked a little shaken, before sharing a laugh with Hange.

"I like you, young Lady, and this is a reason to celebrate; we are one step closer." Uhr's voice roared as Armin grabbed beers for everyone. After weeks of achieving nothing, They had finally made a gun, and this was just the first step.

That night they celebrated, but Armin remained with his eyes open. Once he knew everyone else was sleeping, he stood up and walked up to his workbench in his and Hange's office. As he entered inside, his mind couldn't help but remember her words.

' "Armin, I was alone in Marley. I hated him for so long, and even when I became stronger. I still felt that I was weaker. Even after I got the Female Titan. I was still weaker than him. But then, I met Eren here. I will be honest: at first, he was very annoying, but I grew to love the bastard, but without him. I will be alone again, Armin. I don't fear his wrath. I don't fear death. I was ready to die since the day I became the Female Titan. I'm afraid of being alone because even if Eren somehow doesn't kill me right away, We know he will NEVER forgive me. He will never love me again, and without him... I will be alone again." '

Armin shook his head, trying to forget about it. It served no purpose to torture himself as he closed the door and leaned backwards until his back touched the door; his back slid down the door until he was sitting on the floor. Armin looked at the unfinished project on the table.

"We are not done yet."

Tomorrow

Armin opened his eyes upon hearing a knocking sound. He looked up, and Hange's eyes stared back at him as she snapped her fingers in front of his face. "What?" Armin grumbled as he woke up. He felt a bad ache in his arms, and as he looked down, he realized that he had fallen asleep with his head resting on the table.

"Armin, I think you should take a few days off. Spend some time with Mina." Hange suggested, sounding worried, but Armin shook his head immediately.

"No, I'm fine." Trying not to sound tired, Armin jumped from his seat and walked past Hange, knowing that the food was ready at this time of day.

"Armin, me, and the Engineers are riding to the Royal Castle. We leave in one hour. Take some food with you. It will be seven long hours with just us." Hange teased as she turned around, ready to leave through the door.

"I'm not coming."

For a moment, Hange was sure she must have imagined that as she snapped her neck in his direction, he was spreading the butter on his bread with a knife and not looking at her.

"What did you say?"

"I said I will not come. The Grenade prototype is not ready yet," Armin said casually, as if the answer were obvious. Hange's hand slid off the handle before slowly striding towards Armin.

"Eren and Mikasa will be there, Armin. Even I know you three are best friends. You haven't seen each other in, like, what...three weeks, a whole month? Come on, it will be fun." Hange prodded him, grabbing his wrist and preparing to drag him outside, but Armin remained unmoving. Instead, he forcefully moved his arm away from her grip.

"I'm not coming, Hange. I-I need to finish this first." Armin spoke, his voice growing fainter with each word as he turned to face the prototype across the room.

Hange knew he was hiding something from her. She didn't know what it was, but she knew this wasn't something she could ignore. The King and Queen had made sure to let them all know that all Shifters should be mentally stable before being given Titan Powers. The last thing they needed was one of them to lose their cool while playing poker and, in a fit of rage, turn into Titans, which would result in deaths and the worst. Their people would start fearing the shifters.

"Very good, Armin, but when I return, you will go back to your house." You have not left this place for a whole week now. Whatever this thing works or not, it doesn't matter to me. By the time I return, you will go back home and rest for at least four days, then you can come back again." Hange's tone made it clear she wouldn't budge on this; all the goofiness in her voice vanished.

Armin let out a resigned sigh before nodding reluctantly. "I understand."

Hange hoped he did before leaving the room.

Royal Palace

"It's been some time since I kicked your ass." Annie said playfully as she and Eren fought each other in the royal garden. There wasn't anyone around to see them, and Annie was happy to spend more time with Eren.

"Who knows, maybe I will be the one on top this time, Annie." Eren smirked before throwing a punch at her. After exchanging punches and kicks, Eren groaned as he hit the ground, while Annie sat on his waist, a triumphant smirk spreading across her face.

"I win." Annie claimed to kiss his lips lightly but not fully yet. Eren chuckled as his hand reached up until it was resting on her ass cheeks.

"You have broken the law, Annie. I should punish you for this." Eren teased Annie with a smile as she leaned down, her lips nearly touching his.

"How will you punish me, your grace?" "How will you punish me, your grace?" she asked playfully with a hint of seduction, but Eren caught her off guard by slapping her ass cheeks, causing her to moan and become distracted long enough for Eren to push her to the right, where he now stood on top of her. His lips met her lips, and Annie moaned from pleasure.

.

.

"I heard you talked with Pieck," Annie said quietly as the two walked through the corridor.

Eren frowned slightly, knowing who told her about this. "Mikasa told you?" he questioned, but Annie knew from his voice that Eren already knew the truth.

"What did she want?" Annie asked, ignoring his question. There was no point in answering a question he already knew the answer to.

"Not much. She only talked about the prisoners and the people I punished for their attack on Marley Soldiers." Eren spoke airily. There wasn't anything interesting that she said besides her part about Yelena and what she said yesterday about his brother Zeke. He reminded himself not to have Mikasa with him the next time Pieck decides to pay him a visit.

"Oh." Annie sounded a little disappointed after hearing that, and she didn't really try to hide it.

"If you want, you can talk with her, Annie." Eren offered, but Annie shook her head.

"No. She will blame me for everything and not much else." Annie spoke with a defeated tone.

Soon, the two entered the castle's main hall, where two thrones stood on top of the staircase at the end of the hall.

"Your grace." As Eren walked upstairs, Annie bowed her head to Historia. He kissed her cheek before sitting on his own throne.

"Annie, it's good to see you again. I hope you will stay longer this time." Historia said hopefully, looking down at her friend.

"I hope so. Ymir is training the three new recruits, but I will need to leave after three days."

"That's good to hear. Maybe you can come and dine with us later, Annie. Mikasa will be there, too." Historia smiled, and Annie smiled back.

But before their conversation could continue, the doors opened, revealing ten guards who marched inside, holding a girl in chains, with the three commanders, Levi and Zeke, following behind.

"Who is she?" Eren quickly demanded as Annie moved out of the way, leaning against the wall as the girl was brought to the foot of the staircase.

The girl peered upwards at Eren, a smile growing on her face. She didn't seem even angry that she was in chains. "Your grace; it's an honor to finally meet you," the girl in chains said, with a tone as if she knew Eren somehow.

Eren narrowed his gaze. From the girl's appearance, he already had an idea of who she was, and since his brother was standing close, this confirmed it.

"You must be Yelena."
