"Can we visit Geb and Nessy tonight?" Aisha asked Aposis over dinner. Even though there was a plate of a sizeable, well-decorated shawarma before her, she did not find the appetite to eat. She knew why very well but did not know how to let Aposis know. She felt like to him it was important or maybe such things didn't matter.
"No," he answered simply, but this simple answer got her to push the food away from herself.
"And why exactly?"
"Because..." he stopped eating as well and focused fully on her face. "They have just been gone only yesternight, let's let them be for at least a day or two, then we can visit them." He gave his answer very casually like she was going to nod and say 'ok', but he knew very well she would persist to go, but what she did now was much worse.
She said no more to him, she only gave him an angry look and simply teleported from the dining table to somewhere else and he was not sure where.
