"Good pharaoh," Aposis smiled, "begin immediately."
The Pharaoh took deep breaths before he spoke again. "You have to follow me, honored deities of Egypt," he requested humbly. "I can only summon the gods while I am in my innermost chambers, where I can sense not just their aura but also their strength and will."
Aposis and Geb exchanged glances but he gave him a reassuring nod, that they should go ahead. "Very well then, pharaoh," Aposis replied. "Lead the way then."
He led the way past his chambers which was adorned with glory, and lots of honor. With maids attending to everything there from the bed to the floors and even the walls. But Geb's and Aposis's attention wasn't focused on the exquisite life of the pharaoh but how and when they were finally going to meet Thoth.
