"I stole the scroll which contained the prophecy and the spell to fulfill it from Nun's mortal temple myself," En-Naddaha spoke this time. "I want to pay Ra back for what he did to me—betraying me and not giving me total dominion over the Nile. I only come here at night when I cannot be seen; else he would have me killed to keep his secret. By day, I stay in my cavern very far from here where his sun doesn't scorch. I am very desperate to cause his doom. I am sure I stand no chance against him and all the gods under his command, but I know very well who wields such will." She smiled wickedly.
"Who is that?" Aposis puzzled.
"The earth god himself, Geb," she smiled, pointing at him with pride.
"Me?!" Geb was surprised.
"What?" Aposis could not believe his ears. "I am stronger than Ra. I would have defeated him when we fought because of what he did to you, but Geb intervened for him," he said, slightly disappointed in his own words.
