"You may be right, Bo," Tefnut said, turning her face to him. "But the moist soil told me it's something—or should I say some being—dark, with a great sense of evil, that called out to the mortal from the water, making her fall into it," she said with confidence in her words.

"Did you just say something dark?" Aposis asked, worry and fear written all over his face.

"Yes, demon lord," Tefnut answered. "A great dark energy surges from the Nile to this waterfall," she said, emphasizing with hand gestures.

"No, it can't be," Aposis muttered to himself, disbelief and fear mingling in his voice.
