"Geb!" Shu called again in authority, no longer comfortable about his sudden calmness.
"Yes, father," Geb answered with pain and sorrow evident in his voice.
"What is it, Geb?" Tefnut asked with concern as she sat with him on the bed. "Is there something you are not telling us?"
"Where is your consort, Geb?!" Shu barked, not being able to bear the silence anymore.
"Taken, father," he managed to answer as he force-stopped the cry wanting to erupt from his throat.
"Taken?" Shu seemed confused. "By who?"
"Taken by the Supreme Father," he groaned in pain.
"What?!" Everyone in the room gasped in shock.
"Why is that so? How did it happen?" Shu asked with surprise written all over his face.
"It's all my fault, father," Geb groaned, not being able to let out his tears because he was a god and before inferior immortals. "She had risked her life to save mine, and I couldn't even save her back."
