Chapter 2 - Hangover

"Ugh…"

Nathaniel woke up with the worst hangover he ever felt, but then again they were all bad, each hangover are worse than the previous, and this one is definitely more painful then the ones he had before.

He prayed to God in his head to get rid of the hangover and he won't drink again.

Suddenly, something clicked in his head.

He jerked his head around to see where he was, and to his shock he had no fucking clue. Not because he didn't know where he was, he didn't, but it's because of the environment and the people.

He looked behind, to the side and all around to see that he was in between wooden barricades. Other than the mountain side, the rest of the area is barricaded.

The wooden barricades and guards that enclosed him were more than two hundred feet from where he stood.

The guards around donned iron and leather armors like he was in the middle ages, the swords, bows and horses confirmed it even more.

"This…this…this can't be.." He started with denial, thinking this had to be a prank, but he didn't know this many people to dress up as guards, even if he did, the people he knew didn't have any kind of money or intelligence to think this up. "Where. The. Fuck…"

He stood there looking around in shock, so bewildered he didn't realize his hangover disappeared.

The only thing he can consider normal at the moment is the moon lighting up the area.

"Fuck…am I…" His thoughts ran wild. "..am I in a John Carter situation?!"

"!!!"

He caught a glimpse of himself looking down, the height he noticed but…the armor?

He raised his arms and saw the all too familiar gauntlets, the only difference from the usual is it looked…real.

Worry started to flow in him, he seemed to be in a dangerous situation. If he was really in a different world —universe— then the chances of a privileged guy like him surviving is—

A sudden thought appeared in his head, if he had the armor from his recent Skyrim character, and is most likely the same character as well, does that mean he also has all his…

He raised one of his hands again and slightly folded his fingers as if he is holding something, and a certain spell came up in his head.

*Fwoosh*

A small flame appeared on his palm, the flame swirled before turning into a ball following his thoughts.

His eyes widened, all the worries that built up seemed to have just…flown away.

He raised his other hand and clenched it.

He couldn't believe the power he was feeling just from clenching his hand. No, the power is everywhere, he just didn't notice before it due to his situation.

Does this mean he has everything he did before the game crashed, before he lost consciousness?

Does he have…

He inhaled, filling his lungs with its needs, and slowly exhaled before he muttered a word all too familiar to some people. "fus..—"

*whrooooo*

*KRRROOOOOOOSSSHHHH*

"OH SHII—"

*KRAASHHH*

"FUCK!!"

Maybe he should've known, no. He didn't know the simple first lowercase word of the [Unrelenting Force] would be this destructive, more so right now then he remembered in the game.

The moment he muttered the word, the power of that force shot out from his mouth before a strong shockwave followed out around him.

The barricades in more than two hundred feet away from him broke apart and shattered while the others on the sides shook before tumbling down.

Whispers of a language suddenly filled his head, some words familiar and some not but they all slowly started to enter his understanding.

But his ears suddenly perked.

He heard the agonizing pain and screams from all around where these barricades stood.

"Ohh shitt!! Uhh, ok ok uh, let's try…" He raised his hands up, a certain [Restoration] Spell popped into his head as he put his hands together.

*Shriiiiiiiiinnnggg*

A melodic ring sounded out to his ears as gold energy swirled around like a ball, as if following instincts he brought his hands like squeezing that golden ball compressing it before he threw it in the air.

*SSSHHHRRRIIIINNGGG*

Another shockwave spread out, but this time more pleasant and melodic.

The sudden screams and shouted dimmed until it stopped, to which Nathaniel was glad to notice.

He stood there looking around, the sudden force he let out his mouth finally got the attention of the guards nearby.

He hoped to God —or Shor— that no one had died from the sudden outburst.

"He's…he's awake!"

"What was that?"

"Was that [Holy] power?"

The guards switched up from guarding and not letting anyone in, to weapons fully out and cautiously watching Nathaniel.

Nathaniel's eyes suddenly shined, he could understand them.

"Hello." He raised both his hands to wave as harmlessly as possible. "I'm sorry about tha— I ask for your forgiveness for that sudden outburst, for it was not my intentions to harm you."

Though he didn't realize what his stature, aura and armor made these people feel.

When he created this character, he started with the Nordic Carved Armor with the Imperial Helmet, he went through a few combinations and ended up liking this combo with the Steel battleaxe.

"I am in a bit of some trouble and would like to ask for your aid, is there someone I can perhaps speak to?"

No response came and these guards remained vigilant and kept their blades and arrows on him.

"I can speak with you."

Nathaniel saw a middle-aged man walking towards him from the barricades near the city. The man wore shiny steel armor with a fancy cloth draped around his shoulders. Beside him walked another man who looked a bit younger with steel and leather armor.

"Greetings." Nathaniel said cautiously.

"Greetings to you. I am Marco Windsor, my companion here is Richard." King Marco introduced himself as well as his Royal Guard Captain.

"I am Na—" Nathaniel paused, should he use his real name? He can't use his gamer name for the character he currently took over since it had a bunch of numbers and symbols on it.

"Nathaniel. Nathaniel Sanders."

"It's a pleasure, Lord Nathaniel. May I ask what you need assistance with?" King Marco asked, he had questions of his own but he would rather answer the questions of the man who can easily kill them and possibly revive them as well.

"Where am I?" Nathaniel went straight to the point.

"You are in Hunari, the land of humans, more specifically you are in the central area of the continent in the Ladon Kingdom." King Marco answered.

Nathaniel put his head down as it churned, of course he knew he wasn't on earth, probably not even in the same universe.

He is on a planet where there might be different species considering the man Marco said "Land of humans".

Just from what he has seen and what Marco told him, he can connect enough dots to understand hos situation and the world he is in.

The question is why the fuck is he here, and why?

"Do you…" He contemplated if he should ask, but in the end he could pass off the excuse that he lost his memories in case he was actually someone who had an identity and life here, at least the body he currently has. "Do you know how I got here?"

King Marco raised his hand before pointing to the skies. "You fell from the skies, a big storm rose before you fell, and then it disappeared."

"…" So the hangover he got came from his fall, from the skies…at this moment he was thankful for having this new body, it goes without saying that if it was his original body then he would have been squashed by now.

"What planet is this?"

King Marco and Richard paused. "Terra…"

"Are you not from here?…" King Marcos asked.

"I…I'm not sure." Nathaniel gave a half-asses answer.

Well since he fell from the skies and have literally nothing here…he turned to the man himself.

"Are you…influential here?" Nathaniel asked, suggesting if Marco has power in the City near considering how he's dressed.

"…yes, I am. I am King of Ladon." King Marcos said after some hesitation.

Nathaniel's eyes shined. "Great!! In that case, can you help—" He walked forward towards them but paused a moment later.

He noticed King Marco and Richard suddenly turning haggard and stumbling back.

"Is…is everything okay?" Nathaniel asked with a frown.

"Forgive me, Lord Nathaniel. But your aura is a bit too much for us to handle, if we get any closer we might suffer from Energy Prying." King Marco explained.

Nathaniel wasn't exactly sure what he meant but he got an idea of it, and it was quite explanatory.

Earlier a simple soft word from [Unrelenting Force] almost destroyed the area and could have killed some of these people, meaning he is either too strong kr they are too weak.

So all the power in his body could be too overbearing for these guys.

"Do forgive me, let me see if I can do something about that." He got to work, if he wanted someone to give him some privilege in living, food and expenses by a king at that then he has to take that chance.

His level was already maxed, but maybe if he took some "extra" things off then it might lighten the load on them.

He has been lucky so far, so he tried his luck once more and closed his eyes and thought of something.

Every character start out with a capacity on what they can carry, and when on takes something in-game, it usually disappears and appears in their character inventory.

But would that work in real life? There is a way this might be able to translate to the real world.

He closed his eyes and thought about character inventory.

It appeared, he smiled widely.

He can see in his head rows upon rows of items in this inventory space.

The countless sets of armors and weapons he had been working on as well as every potion, food, scrolls, books, ingredients and even keys along with every miscellaneous items appeared in his head in Abundance.

Maybe he didn't need the king after all, he can just roam and do whatever he wants, even the gold he possessed reached the millions after all the mods and playthrough he did.

Of course, the gold might not be a currency here but the gold itself has worth no matter what world, at least he hope so.

King Marco and Richard saw the helmet Nathaniel wore light up before dimming and disappeared.

They could finally see this mighty being's face.

Nathaniel focused on the necklace he wore, which greatly enhanced both his Stamina, Magicka and health altogether and it disappeared.

The overbearing tyrannical power that pushed King Marco and Richard down finally disappeared, although they could still feel the weight Nathaniel emitted naturally.

"Alright, how about now, better?"

"Yes, much better. Thank you, Lord Nathaniel." King Marco gave his gratitude while Richard nodded conveying his thanks as well.

"Now, where were we? Right, I was hoping you can help me settle down for a little bit before I can figure out myself from this place? And I'll owe you a favor, your majesty." Nathaniel smiled, moving closer to which they didn't show much discomfort over.
