Riele got home and she was happy to see Harry awake, watching T.V. She stared at him for a while and she remembered how much he troubled her when he was younger. He has grown into a big boy and she can't wait to see more of him. For a young boy, he is handling matters pretty well. She hasn't sat down to talk to him about things but one day she will.
"Harry, I am home."
He rushed to meet her and took the things she brought with her. "Welcome sis."
"Why isn't the door locked? I have told you several times... "
"to shut the door whenever you are out…I know." He locked the door. "How was work?"
"Exhausting."
"And Mr. Kim?" he turned to look at his sister who was already giving him weird looks.
"Since when did you and Mr. Kim become close friends?"
"We aren't friends yet but I would love to be close to him. He seems like a sweet guy. I prefer him more to that Jay guy."
"Jay is a very sweet person. You are just saying all this because you haven't met him yet."
"Maybe and maybe not. So, how is he? Did he ask about me?"
Riele saw how excited her brother was just talking about her boss but then, "I don't want to burst your bubbles but I have to."
"What do you mean?"
"I don't think he remembers you and even if he does, he doesn't care."
"You are just saying all this because you don't like him."
"Wrong," She walked up to him and held his shoulders. "He has a lot going on so don't get your hopes up."
Harry was sad. He was looking forward to the close relationship with Mr. Kim but then, his sister was right. It is better to be surprised than disappointed.
"Charlotte made these for you," She handed him the food Charlotte packed for him.
"Really?" His sad face lit up with joy as he opened it. As he was checking what was inside, he paused and looked at his sister. "Why do I feel there is more to this food?"
Riele tried so hard not to laugh. "What do you mean?" she asked with a straight face.
"What does she want me to do? I know this food is a bribe."
The laughter she was holding back came out. "I told her you'd find out. Anyways, she wants you to spend some time with her. You know she is pregnant and there is no one with her."
"I just knew there was something strange about this food but since she already bribed me, I will go."
"Alright! I am going to my room, call me if you need anything."
"I will." Riele was on her way to her room when Harry said, "I got a call from the hospital." She paused and turned to look at him while he finished his statement. "The doctor said mom moved her fingers but they are waiting for her to respond to stimuli."
"When was that?"
"Around 2 pm. Does that mean mom is coming back to us? "
"I hope so, Harry. Make sure to go to bed early, do you understand? And no adult movies."
"I know, I know. Goodnight, sis."
"Good night." she went to her room while Harry enjoyed the food Charlotte gave to him.

The following day, Riele had to wake up on time to get prepared. She didn't want to be in Kim's black book. She instructed her brother on what to do before going to spend time with Charlotte.
"Make sure to be a good boy and don't stress her out. I will come over after work to pick you up and please be careful."
She went on and on with safety tips until her brother stopped her. "Just get going already. I'll be fine."
"send me a message before leaving."
"Seriously Riele, just get going already."
He pushed her out of the house because he knew she would still be there if she didn't.
"Be careful, okay? And I love you."
"Love you too," he bade his sister goodbye before going in.
Riele checked her wristwatch and she was glad she still had a few minutes more to get to work. "Let's see what would make you get mad at me this time." She said to herself as she boarded a taxi to work.
At work, Kim had set a meeting and he was waiting for everyone to arrive- everyone especially Riele.
"Is Riele here yet?" He asked Amanda but she shook her head.
"I texted her and she said she is on her way. She would be here in no time."
Kim nodded but he was becoming impatient.
He looked out his window and he saw Riele coming down from a cab and his face lit up a bit. He watched her pay the taxi driver and all of a sudden, she stopped walking and looked at her phone for a few minutes. There was a shocked expression on her face.
He watched her put the phone in her bag and ran to another direction that was not the company.
He tried to go and meet her but Amanda came to tell him that it was time for the meeting.
"Everyone is here except Riele," she said.
Kim was silent. He was thinking about Riele. Was she okay? What did she receive on her phone that made her run like that? He was in deep thought.
"Um, Mr. Kim…" Amanda called trying not to touch him. He cleared his throat and Amanda repeated what she said just in case he didn't hear her the first time. "What should I do?"
"I will be right there." He took his phone, jacket and went out of the office.
The staff members greeted him but he didn't reply to anyone even Jay was shocked but didn't follow him.
He got out of the company and into his car and drove off. In the car, he kept calling Riele's number in hope that she would pick up his call.
