Journee turned the phone to show him the screen. Chris was calling him. "Of course! He is my counterpart in the FBI. Of course, I have his number saved. Why are you asking stupid questions? Give me that!"
"No, rest! I will talk to him. You must not speak, you have to preserve your energy," taunted Journee. Kay started sniggering.
"Really! You idiots, made me shout last night, not once, not twice, I forgot the number of times I shouted and screamed at you, and now I must not talk. Give me my phone," snapped William.
But Journee ran away and picked up the phone. She immediately exited the door and talked on the phone, "Hello!" She heard William shouting at her, "She is never going to let me breathe, is she? So annoying! My daughter is annoying!!!"
Chris's voice chimed softly, "Hello! Journee?"
"Yes! Could you… just one second," she said over the phone, hid the microphone of the phone, opened the door and shouted at William, "I can hear you, you know!"
