Archer clapped his hands and continued. "We exchanged numbers, and I might go for drinks with her. Who knows what the night might lead to? Fucking, models and actors, and socialites is getting boring. Maybe a vanilla girl is exactly what I need," Archer made up a lie, well, not a lie per se.
"Ohh! Looks like my man is falling in love with a boring vanilla life," joked Zion.
"What? Love? No, no, I am not in love," scoffed Archer, but his expression was saying something else. Zion kept talking about the girl Archer just described, but Archer's mind actively kept thinking about Journee. He knew life with her was not going to be vanilla at all. She would challenge him at every turn.
"My man! You are scoring girl even when you visit a hospital. Lucky dog!" teased Zion.
"Oh, I don't know, if I am lucky or extremely unlucky. That girl will kill me one day for sure," replied Archer without even thinking. The words just came out of his mouth.
"You are smitten!" laughed Zion.
