Thwack! The punch made Chris stumble, and he placed his hands over the wall to get some support. But his knees, his old knees, gave in, and he fell to his knees. His hand automatically grabbed his face, and he groaned with pain.
"Jo!" Kay, too, was stunned by Journee's display of anger. That man was about to tell them everything, but Journee just punched him. "What? Why did you do that?"
Without talking to Journee, she simply looked at Chris with fire in her eyes and started moving towards him to kick him, but Kay pulled her back and wrapped his arms around her chest, tightly holding her hand in his grip. He was not letting her move even an inch.
"What are you doing? JO! Snap out of it!" shouted Kay.
